Not many places can do so many things so well. I had the ribs and they very tasty and beyond "fall off the bone". My wife had the mixed grill: the chicken, fish and shrimp were all cooked perfectly. My parents each had a burger, done the way they liked it.\r \r Only one negative. Our server was not very pleasant. She was fast; but she was not pleasant. The rest of the wait/bus staff was both fast and pleasant.\r \r We have recently moved to Jupiter, and this will be the first place we take visitors. more

There is nothing special as far as dining experiences go, and from the reviews one would have expected something great. There is no atmosphere......how could there be? It's in the carpark of an industrial site on a busy noisy road, with park benches for seats. Hardly conducive to relaxation ! more

Great dogs! First and foremost. The hotdogs are served in the New England style hog dog bun. The dogs are premium quality and the condiments are fresh and delicious. But the rest of the menu is out of this world. The fried fish and grilled fish is simple, Fresh!, and amazing. I personally love the house made tartar. Just so you know it is tough to get a table so do expect a wait but it is well worth it. Enjoy Dune Dogs in Jupiter Florida! more

For a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere, you gotta go to Dune Dog's! Never eaten anything there that I didn't like and they have great specials, too! Clam chowder and bourbon street shrimp are my top choices! more

Not the kind of person to sit and wait for a snobby waitress to take your order and not get refills? Don't go here, service is so bad I wouldn't bother going back if you paid me. Food ok, not much to expect from a place that mostly serves hotdogs. Seafood quantity limited, very thin fillets and not much to choose from. I noticed most of the food is just blended together. Same bread for everything, same chichen for everything. The worst. more

we love to eat here we get to sit out side and enjoy the weather the kids enjoy the fish stix,and the coloring pages we always order some sort of seafood.. clam strips are always goods as well as the fish. the only down side is it gets very busy weekends so we usually go during the week! more

Go there frequently\r \r Pros: food comes out fast and HOT, cold beer (WHY did they stop selling Bud Light Lime??) inexpensive, very relaxed, great menu\r \r Cons: cigarette smoke out front in waiting area and bar, Kids night ( Wed.) is a Zoo, bar seats view a mess behind bar, burgers are subpar ( stick with the crunchy fish sandwich)\r \r Dune Dog's approval of over 90% is deserved more

If you want a dog then try the "Leroy Brown"! Dog with chilli, onions and cheese. But don't stop there! They have great burgers, waffle fries, fish fry and lobster rolls. This place has great food and atmosphere! A MUST TRY! more

A Longtime Favorite with Rare Local Charm 3/15/2011

Looks can be deceiving. From the street, (and in their amusingly cheap television commercials), The Dune Dog looks at best cheap and at worst (dare I say it) trashy. But trust me, you'll grow to love this South Florida gem! The touristy decor, coupled with friendly service and consistently great food make it a longtime favorite of mine. It's a nice alternative to all the huge, expensive chain restaurants that have packed the Jupiter area in recent years. more

Consistently good food, low prices and considering how busy the place gets, pretty good service too! Can't go wrong with anything on this menu. My kids love the ribs, I always enjoy the grilled fish (whatever is fresh that day) and the man likes the grilled chicken. Very casual and friendly. more

The roof leaks? No kidding....it's a tiki restaurant. The food was awesome and the leaky roof added ambiance.... I rate it A+++ more
