Great Environment Pretty Good Food 3/12/2009

I hate it when people nit pick at a business. I could say that the line was slightly annoying and it was more annoying to move around the line to get out with my food. Who cares! It wasn't that difficult. I wanted to get out of my cube farm for lunch and I've been wanting to try this place. The dark wood and boutique set-up made it cozy. I would even say it felt like I was in a different state. I had the tuna salad. It was okay. A little dry. A little on the expensive side for a quick lunch. With that nit picking out of the way, I'LL BE BACK. Environment is very important to me, and I like Duck and Decanters. Pros: cozy space to get away from the office Cons: okay food more

My fave! 3/9/2009

Great atmosphere! Amazing food and little cute things to buy! more

Franchise Alternative 8/24/2005

Far more interesting, though moderately pricey, sandwiches than your common sub shop for lunch. Weekends have quality bands (reggae, jazz, blues, variety) that make this spot worth the visit when you're out and about. Unique non-food offerings round out this nice place. Highly recommended for out-of-town visitors. Pros: Variety/Quality, Courteous staff, Prices OK Cons: Rarely really clean more

Like nothing you've tasted 7/8/2002

This is possibly one of the better delis around. Duck and Decanter is a brilliant concept: take a European-influenced, gourmet store, add a formidable cheese section and devote an entire counter to just making sandwiches. The result is, quite plainly, devine. Sandwiches come in all shapes and sizes. The sundried tomato and brie concoction is devine, as well as the albacore tuna salad with avocado. Splurge and purchase a fancy drink as well. Sit on the patio and listen to live music and revel in an ideal lunch. Pros: Great sandwiches, Gourmet coffee, Amazing deli Cons: Can get crowded more
