Good: Liked the idea of buying local & having a service department.. Bad: Service was very poor (Saturday morning). Purchased a chainsaw and it was not serviced at all - could have gotten much better service from a big chain store.. Improvements: Need to honor pricing quoted. Told my husband one price, but did not honor that pricing even when I told him what he said earlier. This was the first time we have ever purchased a new chainsaw that was not at least started up prior to carrying it out of the store. The saw should have at least been checked out / adjusted / started with a tank of fuel & bar oil.. Other: Very, very disappointed with this experience.. more

Ever been to a real hardware store? When you really need a gadget or part, door handle, some seed, a lawn mover, paint, a new rocking chair for the porch? Dual Supply is a real honest to goodness step back into what a real store is. Family folk, friendly, have everything, even some things you did not know existed-they'll fix your mower, sharpen you knives and blades, replace that glass in your storm, and even more, make you feel like you've done something for them-supported a small business in a local community that has been here for 3 generations and longer. I love em! more

If they don't have it they will get it. This store has been helping my family for over 20 years. I have needed a thing-a-ma-bob that has not been made in years and Dual Supply just happens to have one lying around. It costs me 10 cents. That scenario happens all the time. more

Personal and personable 9/18/2008

Individual friendly help in a pleasantly old fashioned store, a mom & pop operation in the highest sense. They do not have everything, but if they do not have it, you probably do not really need it. more

They have got it. If you can't find it anywhere else it is sure to be here. This is a family run business that has been around for many years. They sell mainly hardware, but have lots of odds and ends, including outdoor items. Service here is the way it used to be, long before Lowe's and Home Depot came about. They are a familiar face in a small town. Located in downtown Hillsborough, in a lovely spot where you can dine and shop after a visit. more
