Madeline's should be on Kitchen Nightmares 6/21/2011

I say it should be on Kitchen Nightmares because I would like them to get some help to improve their menu and service. They already improved the building, but that was bad too. I've eaten here way too many times. I go to this place because I frequently have business meetings there. Every time I go the food poor. There service is also usually bad. I have actually had my order forgotten by the server and received no food when I was with a group of about 10 people. That happened to me TWICE, with completely different servers. They moved locations, and the new restaurant is nicer than the old one, but the food is the same. I have actually met the owner, and he's a really nice guy, and so I would like him to do well. I just don't want to ever have to eat there again. I am activity looking for another place to have our meetings. more

RUDE MANAGEMENT, MEDIOCRE SERVICE IN SANDY 6/21/2011

I tried to get a resolution to a problem in the restaurant in Sandy and asked for the manager. When he came he was rude and arrogant! I wouldn't recommend his place to my dog, he deserves better. Go to Sizzler, it would be a much better experience! more

Utah's Best Family Steakhouse 4/6/2011

Madeline's Restaurant is by far the best place around to dine on a perfectly cooked steak, enjoy a tasty mouthful of crab legs, accompanied by great service, and one of the kindest, and most generous community involved ownership and family. This place has and gives it all!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Great Food in South Jordan 3/26/2011

My wife and I went to Madeline's for Valentines day and had a great time. The food was wonderful and I liked that they had a dinner for 2 that included an appetizer and desert to share. \r \r Great experince and freindly staff. more

For an absolute excellent meal try: Madelines Steakhouse & Grill / 1133 W South Jordan Pkwy / South Jordan, Utah 84095 /(801) 446-6639 It is worth the drive from Ogden for really great food!!!!! I recommend the Raspberry Halibut or fish and chips - and my husband recommends the steaks! more

Madeline's is a great place to eat whether entertaining business clients or a night out with friends or family. The people are friendly and the food is absolutely great. They are a steakhouse that can cook a sirloin well done and it still has great taste. more

I have eaten at many restaurants and consider myself a food critic. \r \r If you want to enjoy high quality and value, then make Madeline's a favorite!\r \r We love the service, we are always made to feel important, like we are the only customers. Poor Management and sevice 1/29/2011

We have dined @ Madeline's several times! Tonight was very bad. We were there for an hour and 40 minutes for dinner. The waitress took 15-20 minutes to get 3 glasses of wine, then another 15-20 for 1 dessert, put all three couples orders on one bill, so we had to have her seperate them. We also had a bug on our table, she did nothing about it. Then as we are waiting for 1 of the bills to come back the manager comes over and tells us we have to leave cause we've been there for 2 hours. Well, we will never go back!!!!!! more

Sizzler Food at Flemings Prices 1/12/2011

Honestly I was very disappointed with Madelines. The people are nice for the most part. My server was some RM, and he was kinda cocky but oh well. He said he was the manager and gave us free raspberry cheesecake. Too bad the cheescake was old and rubbery.... The steak was comparable to Sizzler, and I had trouble choking it down. Salad was brown and wilted, and the rolls were hard as rock and burning hot. (Obviously straight from a microwave.) Go to Sizzler and save your money, the salad bar is better than Madelines on a good day. more

Excellent service and food 12/26/2010

I went to madeline's with a few girlfriends and we had the best meal. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. The salad that came with the meal was crisp and the dressing just right! The pricing of the menu is also good...its a good value (better than some of those other steak houses) more

Thanksgiving slop 11/25/2010

The food was horrible. Maybe it was just the Thanksgiving menu because I have heard good things about their steak. The greenbean casserole was hard to choke down and the turkey was so dry I thought it was chicken. The pie was paper thin. The soup and the salmon were disgusting. In the end my famliy and I joked and said maybe we can get some better food at the state prison in Draper. But now I'm wondering if that was a joke! more

Great Service! 10/1/2010

My hubby and I go to Madeline's on a regular basis. The service is great. They are all so eager to make sure you have a good dining experience. One night, we wanted to share a dessert, but couldn't decide between two of our favorites. So, the waitress offered to bring us a half slice of both desserts! We love the wildlife decor throughout the restaurant, too. more
