Some people don't use common sense to their animals. And then blame Drummonds. Not taking their animal when the place is open, then calling in the middle of the night. Drummonds isn't a emergency clinic, never was. If your dog has been ill all week, don't wait until its about dead and expect miracles. A lot of the bad reviews are just that. Anybody can post stuff even if they don't know what they're talking about. I have found Drummond's clean, good vets, and better prices of any in the area. more

They took wonderful care of my dog. Prices best in the area. Building being remodeled and is really pretty. No bad smells like some vets place I've been in. more

"Our staff will treat your animals and you like dirt." I have never left that place feeling fully confident my animals are going to be taken care of. It always seems like it a great pain for the staff to help you, too. And recently I had a lovely cat spayed there, and there were SO many unneeded problems with it. Including two extra visits. My cat had to be left there for two extra days, because they messed up the surgery, and they even CHARGED ME for their screw up. And during the extra two day stay, and because it was the weekend no one was there, so she wasn't fed. I also had a HUGE problem with the restitch and wrapping of the sight. They actually used a HUMAN ace-bandage. Any normal person knows you never use that kind of bandage on a surgical sight. I ALWAYS have problems with these vets. Even for the simplest things. I have since switched vets, but people need to know that their animals will not be taken care of. more

Drummond Animal Hospital is a great place to take your pets when they need to get their shots or to be checked for other common ailments. When it comes to a emergency though, I would suggest a vet that has regular daytime hours. When my husband accidentally stepped on our puppy's leg and broke it one morning, we had to wait until 5pm to take him to the vet because they only have evening hours. The staff was mostly friendly, but not really people friendly. I was not overly impressed witht he facility and have found another vet with regular daytime hours. more
