The first that alarmed me is the waiting people complain about. Dr. Drogin tries to help every patient he can and he doesnt give patients 10 minutes each -- he gives his patients...

Worst

1. Front receptionist lady is rude, not compassionate and has an attitude that has no place when dealing with sick or especially mentally ill people. 2. Even with an appointment ...

Dr. Drogan, Pros: A sensible and kind doctor in a comfortable hillcountry setting. Cons: Yep, there's not a one I can think of. more

Best Doctor 8/1/2007

I have been seeing Dr. Drogin for some now 8 years. He is the best Doctor I have ever had. Very polite, very attentive to my needs as a patient. This morning for instance I feel awful, called the office the girls there are very sweet, put me on hold for two seconds came back and said you can come in now. I recommend him to every one that ask me for a good Doctor, maybe thats why half of my family see him and half the people at work see him aswell. If you are looking for the most caring Doctor he is your man. His office staff will take good care of you and treat you with such respect. Your the man Doctor Mark! :0) Pros: He's the best. Cons: Sometimes there is a little wait but he gives every patient the same attention! more

THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY 7/26/2007

In response to the person criticizing my practice, recently we became aware that several insurance companies, including hers, were no longer reimbursing our office for our psychiatric services. As a result of this, we decided we must convert my PSYCHIATRIC practice to private pay status. We called her before her appointment to let her know this as a courtesy to her. more

Most Unprofessional Doctor 7/16/2007

I scheduled a new patient appointment with Dr. Drogin's office. The soonest he could see me was 5 weeks later, July 13th. On July 12th, less than 24 hours before the appointment, his office called to say as of July 1st they were no longer accepting insurance for my type of appointment. As of today, July 16th, he has neglected to inform Blue Cross Blue Shield that he is no longer under contract with them. more

Best Doctor within in 80 mile Radius! 5/14/2007

I've been seeing Dr. Mark for 6 years. He's treated me for sinus infections, mental health conditions, referred me for MRI's and everything in between. He is kind, caring and takes the time to answer all my questions. He asks about my family and treats me with dignity. I have moved to Austin but I know I will never find a jewel like him. As long as he is in practice, I will drive to the ends of the earth. His office staff is warm and friendly, and will work with you on emergency appointments. It just doesn't get better than this. Pros: He takes the time to alleviate your fears and concerns. Kid-friendly waiting room. Cons: sometimes there can be a wait. more
