It was a great experience for our son and for us! 11/13/2013

From the beginning it was very easy. 911 Driving School - Columbia helped us through the whole process of getting our son ready to drive. It was great being able to have him picked up and dropped off at our home. That really helped with our busy schedules. It was the perfect fit. Our son had three different driving instructors and enjoyed all of them. It was money well spent. I don't have time to be getting in the car and doing driving practice with him, so I appreciated the fact that someone trustworthy was there to do that, teaching him all the ins and outs of driving. more

Seamless! 11/12/2013

911 Driving School provided driving lessons for my son and everything turned out fantastic! He liked that they started with the safety classes, he felt like he learned a lot from that, so once they got on the road, he felt really comfortable and scored a hundred on his road test. more

Excellent 11/6/2013

Went to 911 Driving School for driver training and testing and it was really good. more

911 Driving School has the ability and patience to teach youth 11/1/2013

My son took the drivers ed class at 911 Driving School - Columbia. He was able to do both the lessons and the road test with them. My husband and I both tried teaching him ourselves, but I was too nervous sitting in the passenger seat and did not think I had the patience needed to teach a new driver. The instructors at 911 Driving School were very patient. They came to pick him up at the house, gave him tips as a new driver and told him what to look out for. I was really impressed! He was able to do the lessons and eventually got his license. more

Nice people making driving school accessible 10/31/2013

My experience with 911 Driving School was great! Not only were the classes themselves good, but they do everything they can to make the service accessible. Since I work, they offered to pick my daughter up so she could go for her class after school before I got home. My daughter was also able to take the driving exam with them. It made it so much easier. For my other child's driving school I had to drive across town and wait for hours. The people were really nice. They taught my daughter what she needed to know while making the service accessible. more

I have nothing but good things to say. 10/28/2013

They were very accommodating at 911 Driving School. The person at the front desk would always call ahead of time and confirm that things were correct. One time, there was a little mix-up about the meeting place. They were so quick and pleasant about fixing it. My daughter had a great experience because she felt very comfortable with them at all times. more

My daughter had a good experience. 10/25/2013

It seemed like 911 Driving School - Columbia had good classes. My daughter said it was interesting and gave her the knowledge on driving that she needed. They were willing to drop off and pick up at the house, which was great. It was also nice having former and current law enforcement officers as instructors so they could give more accurate training. Another good thing about them is that you can do the driving exam with the same person who you've been driving with. It makes taking the test a comfortable situation, more so than going to other schools where they don't administer the performance test. more

One of the best driving schools around. 10/24/2013

I have already recommended 911 Driving School because they take their time with the kids. They teach them all the skills, but make sure to figure out what special areas could use extra work. Each time they go out on a drive with the kids, they will come talk to you after the fact to update you on progress. The instructors really put my son at ease. He was initially nervous about going out with a teacher. That nervousness went away pretty quickly, though, and he finally felt that he was really ready for the test. I have heard things from people who took their kids elsewhere and can say 911 Driving School offers a much more rounded experience. more

Fabulous confidence builder for high school drivers. 10/24/2013

The instructors at 911 Driving School of Columbia are really knowledgeable. They made my daughter feel so comfortable and confident. They were always readily available, so scheduling time with them was very easy compared to my experience with a different company. Their program really boosts young kids' confidence and driving skills. This place is great! more

Convenient location, friendly service, and cost efficient 10/23/2013

I liked the fact that my son came out of 911 Driving School telling me a lot of things I didn't know so, obviously, they went above and beyond. They didn't just watch him drive but actually educated him on things. Crystal Celso more

911 Driving School prepared my son well. 10/16/2013

911 Driving School - Columbia was pretty good. They were prompt and I thought that they did a really good job with teaching my son the fundamentals of driving. He was very prepared by the time he went to get his driver's license. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to take him to the DMV. Everything was done there. The other great thing is that it's run by police officers. They see craziness every day. They see right every day and they see wrong every day. They see bad habits. The officers talked about all of that in their classroom instruction. There are some behind the scenes things that police officers are aware of because they are constantly in a law enforcement environment that other instructors wouldn't know. It's a little bit more expensive than a lot of other schools I contacted. It's probably $100 more, but I think it was worth it for the peace of mind and the satisfaction knowing that their instructors are the ones who are both training students and giving them the test. more

Would speak even more highly of 911 if that were possible. 9/25/2013

The instructor 911 Driving School of Columbia assigned to us for my wife's driving lessons was great. She's from the Ukraine, and had never really driven before. She was nervous, apprehensive, and scared to death. They managed to get her the same instructor for all four lessons, and he was absolutely super. He couldn't have been better. He and 911 Driving School made it a relaxed and comfortable experience. They were even making calls to the DMV for me because I can't stand being on the phone with them! I've even become friends with Don. If I could give sixes out of fives, I would. more

911 Driving School has been great for my kids. 9/24/2013

Two of my kids have gone to 911 Driving School of Columbia. We called them up about three years ago and sent one daughter there. My son went after that. I don't have any complaints about the place or people. I really like the way they operate! more

We had a really good experience and I would definitely recommend them. 9/20/2013

My son had a positive experience with 911 Driving School - Columbia. They recommend having more than one driving trainer, which I think he's glad that he did. Some other places recommend having the same person. They recommended having more than one so that you're getting different feedback from different people. He had a good experience. The trainers had different personalities and stressed different things. It's also great because you don't have to go down to the highway department. You can just go to their office and do it from there instead of going through all the stuff with the DMV. You still have to go to the DMV to actually get your physical license, but he had already taken the test and passed it and we just had to go there to get the paperwork done. He was glad that he didn't have to go to the DMV and do it there. That's an added plus: to be able to take the test with a 911 driving trainer. It's not the same person who you did training with, but it's still nice. more

An extraordinary driving school 9/19/2013

We had an excellent experience with 911 Driving School - Columbia. The instructors are extremely professional and personable. They really care about the kids that they teach. My daughter gained significant confidence from her outings with them when at first she was very tentative. The instructors gave very good, detailed feedback, and they knew exactly what we needed to work on. When we tried to give her similar advice as parents, she didn't absorb it well. After speaking and working with the instructors though, she came back with much more knowledge about the rules of the road and how to strategize her driving around other drivers who might not share the same good habits. This was well worth the investment. They were just outstanding people to work with. When our fifteen year old daughter comes back from school, we fully intend on enrolling her in the 911 Driving School, as well! more

Superlative service!! I cannot say enough about them. 9/10/2013

This was the best $350 I have ever spent! I've already referred my friends to 911 Driving School of Columbia. I absolutely tell them they should take their kids there. From the time they answered the phone the first time, to how everything is organized online, they are incredibly available. I highly value what they imparted on my child, who already had a lot of driving time with me (I made sure of it). I would recommend 911 Driving School to anyone. If they DON'T send their children to the school, they have to accept that the children might lack really good direction from both police officers and trained eyes. They also did everything in a way that my child loved and enjoyed! This place is just fantastic. more

Absolutely great customer service. 9/9/2013

The driver at 911 Driving School of Columbia was just fantastic. He was outstanding during the process, so it was a great experience all around for my son. All of the staff members - from the drivers to the people inside the office - were really fantastic. more

Professional and always helpful 9/6/2013

My son took driving lessons from 911 Driving School and took his driving test there as well. We had no problems at all, it was a good experience. They're professional, always wanting to help if you needed it, and mostly available for appointments. I've already recommended them to someone else. E. Kompanik more

Great overall experience. 5/16/2013

We had a very positive experience with 911 Driving School. I would recommend them to anyone I know that needs someone like that. The instructors were wonderful. Everything was great. more

Overall great experience. Very flexible for parents on the go. 5/9/2013

911 Driving School is excellent. If parents have a hard time getting their kids down to class, the school with pick them up and drop them off at home after. They are very flexible, offer great instruction, and have good service. Feel safe and securing knowing that police officers are training your kids how to drive. more
