Driftwood Beach Club

When I stepped into the unit, I felt as if I were in a 60s motel somewhere on Route 66. This place is nicely located, but the one bedrooms are small. Two people do not fit in the bathroom. The management really needs to upgrade the furniture and the bedding. We had a small queen and worn down around the edges. If you want location, you have it, but there are nicer time share units in the vicinity. I would never trade in there again. The online pictures are deceiving. I did enjoy the warm water pool centrally located to all the rooms. more

Driftwood Beach Club is located in Lauderdale By The Sea, Florida (near Fort Lauderdale). It is across the street from a nice beach and within walking distance to many of the shops and restaurants. This is an older, motel style timeshare vacation club. It was clean and kept up nicely, but could use a bit of updating. Most units feature kitchens and one or two bedrooms. Furnishings are older and a little worn, but had everything you needed. It has a smaller pool, a hot tub, picnic tables, bbq grills and two shuffleboard courts. This is not a place for travelers that expect luxury, but it works and the people here were friendly. This was a great location that was convenient to other popular areas of Florida. We explored Miami, Miami Beach, South Beach, Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale- all within a reasonable driving distance. more
