I have been a client of Dream Acres for years. 90% of boarded horses are horses that were purchased from Dream Acres (including mine). Everyone is happy. The great thing about Dream Acres is that the farm allows each rider to ride the horse for months, in lessons and even lease the horse for as long as you want to before making a commitment to purchasing the horse. I dont know any other places that work so hard to make sure the perspective buyer has a chance to really get to know everything about the horse before making a commitment. The farm also works with their buyers allowing zero interest payments. It is one of the few places that really cares about the horses and the people. The care is immpeccable. The safety is immpeccable (for horse and rider). The majority of the horse/rider relationships last for years and years. Any many times if and when the rider outgrows the horse, Dream Acres buys the horse back! How much better can it get! The majority of Dream Acres clients are long term of more than 5 yrs. We recently purchase a horse from Dream Acres. Prior to the sale I did my research, however did not execute a vet check because I made the mistake of trusting the owner/company. In my sales contract it states the horse is approximately 9 years old, and in generally good health. You can imagine how happy my children were when we surprised them with a horse. The emotional ties children have with these animals is unreal. It is truly an amazing experience to see. However, in this case it went bad quickly. I write this so as to hopefully prevent this from happening to you. more
