From the moment I walked into the office of Dr. Steven Thomas, the staff went overboard to make me feel welcomed and I felt confident that I was in good hands. I had been avoiding the embarrassment of going to any dentist because I knew my work was extensive and I could not even imagine having to go through the pain. I have suffered under previous dentists and I have been told that there is nothing that could be done for my teeth except extractions. But Dr. Thomas gave me not just a solution, but the attachment and my chewing ability of my new teeth still amaze me. My new teeth are honestly the closes to natural teeth than I would have ever expected. The staff even fussed over me in my follow-up visits which were completed in less than three weeks. My decision to put my trust in the hands of Dr. Steven Thomas and his facility was one of my wisest actions this year! This is my way of expressing my gratitude to the staff and doctor who performed a miracle in my mouth and made me feel like family. Dr. Steven Thomas met me on one of the busiest days at that office. Even still, my reception was welcoming and full with smiles and assuring professionalism. For most of my life, I had to get over the appearance of teeth. I feel to this day, that I did not get promoted in a previous job, due to the appearance of my teeth. As a child, I had poor dental care and as I got older comprehensive dental care costs always took the back burner in my life. So, Dr. Steven Thomas met me discouraged, overwhelmed and not very confident. Dr. Thomas explained my entire procedures and examinations with such thorough detail, that I felt immediately at ease. I have been seen by Dr. Thomas for over three years now, because of my very first visit. Initially, I went to his office without ever having a cleaning. I was very embarrassed and expected tensions or ill remarks from my obviously horribly situation. But my visit was quite the contrary. The Staff at Dr. Thomas' office was very non-judgmental and went over and beyond to make sure during my x-rays and fillings that I understood everything in detail and made sure that I was comfortable. That was over 3 years ago and I still sat that Dr. Thomas is the most gentle and professional dentist in Arlington, Texas---better yet, the entire state of Texas!!!. I will never miss my scheduled, maintenance 6 month appointments, ever! I was referred to Dr. Thomas by a fellow police officer. I can fight crime and face danger all day long, but was deathly afraid of a dentist. From the first phone call, the staff of Dr. Thomas made me feel so comfortable. I regret having not going to see him sooner. Where do I begin in thanking him for the tremendously renewing experience of his artistry. That may sound way overboard, but every time I look in the mirror I think, ""Only an artist could have corrected those teeth!"" Dr. Thomas corrected my teeth in time for my sister's wedding, just as promised. I am glad that I took a chance and believed what he prescribed for me, for I look stunning in those photographs! My son used to complain about my bad breath. It was very embarrassing and discouraging to me. The worse my swollen gums got, the softer my food became that I had to eat. Ginger, my best friend told me about Dr. Steven Thomas. Even though I had to drive over an hour to get to Arlington, it was VERY worth it!!! Let me tell you about Dr. Steven Thomas and his staff. I was able to get a consultation and my apicoetomy within 24 hours. It was painless and believe it or not, cost me substantially less than a quote I received months before with another dentist just outside Fort Worth. Dr. Thomas seemed overly concerned with my comfort level and I think that is very important when coming out of the pocket. What really made me take my hat off to Dr. Thomas is his follow up call that he made to my cell phone the next day. Who does that anymore? This was impressive to me and informative. I really appreciate that Dr. Thomas asked me frequently how I felt about my experience at his office---he really cares!
