Dr. Berookim has been my gastroenterologist for about 2 years now. I first saw him for a colonoscopy and his office and expertise sold me on having him as my primary stomach doc. more

Having Barrett’s esophagus is no fun, but being under the care of a great gastroenterologist makes all the difference! Dr. Berookim put me on anti-acid medication and recommended a treatment called RFA to protect me from getting esophageal cancer in the future. more

Dr. Berookim diagnosed me with Barrett's Esophagus and inflammation of my esophagus after an endoscopy. Under his care, I am no longer having trouble swallowing food or feeling discomfort after I eat. more

I had a consultation with Dr. Berookim about my acid reflux. I was afraid I would need surgery, but Dr. Berookim recommended medication and lifestyle changes that worked really well. It's great to see a doctor who doesn't always recommend the most expensive treatment option! more

I would highly recommend Dr. Berookim for any patient needing a colonoscopy. He's friendly and patient, taking the time to explain the procedure so I wasn't nervous. more

I'd definitely recommend Dr. Berookim for other patients with chronic heartburn. He diagnosed me with GERD and told me how important it was to monitor my condition to make sure I didn't develop Barrett's over time. more

Great GI Doctor 1/10/2012

I have been having some stomach issues for a while now and finally went to see Dr. Berookim. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He definitely took the time to explain what was going on, the tests he was going to do, and next steps. I ended up having to get a colonoscopy, which wasn't awesome but not too bad. I am very glad I went to see Dr. Berookim and will definitely continue to see him. If you are having GI problems, I would definitely recommend you see him. more

Dr Berookim is great! 12/12/2011

A friend recommended Dr Berookim to me after I had been suffering from chronic stomach pain for a few months. I went to Dr. Berookim and he performed an upper endoscopy to examine what was going on with me. I was very happy with how Dr. Berookim educated and prepared me for the procedure. I highly recommend him if you are in need of a gastroenterologist in LA. more
