It is very unfortunate for you to have such an unprofessional office staff as it is a direct reflection of your medical practice. I write this to inform you of the incompetence that your office staff exhibits and their total lack of common courtesy as well as their inability to communicate. Your name is on the United Health Care site as a provider and your staff confirmed that when I made an appointment for my daughter as well as costs and that I wold be responsible for my portion at the time of the appointment after they contact the insurance provider to determine benefits. After being in your office three hours that was not what I was told at the time of leaving. I was then told that I would pay 100% of the bill and then be reimbursed. I drove from Palm Coast to Port Orange because a) you are on the insurance website, and b) your staff confirmed that when I call and provided all specifics. That was only after sitting in your lobby and waiting room for hours with no explanation from your staff. Maybe, the doctor had emergancies and we are running behind, would you like to wait or reschedule, is common practice. Instead when asking I was given very "high school" remarks such as, "I have no idea", and "nope, I sure don't'. Spoke with Lynn, office manager, now I can tell who trains their staff. Claims the doctor knows of all mentioned. Maybe she is his wife? We have an appt with a real doctor and staff Friday, been in town since 1957, don't let anyone tell you that doesn't matter.
