Dr. Hurley completed his undergraduate training at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with an emphasis in pre-medicine and biomedical ethics. His chiropractic education was completed at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated at the top of his class and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, as well as a second bachelors degree, this time in human biology. He then completed extensive post-graduate work specializing in the Upper Cervical Specific technique through the I.U.C.C.A. under Dr. William Amalu. He completed a 3-year externship in Boston, Massachusetts under the direction of Dr. William Trevens.
