Henry Texer DDS 11/3/2005

I am no longer frightened to go to the dentist because of Henry Texer DDS and his staff. I am welcomed by name into the office and have never waited more than 5 minutes to get into my room. The hygenists are friendly and careful while working on your teeth. Dr. Texer has done a great job filling my cavities and relacing cracked crowns. He is a calming presence and up to date on the latest dental procedures. more

    Diagnodent (decay detection)
Laser Cavity Detector, Painless & simple procedure. Allows for early cavity detection, which means less invasive treatment. Used on suspicious teeth after careful visual examination & thorough cleaning. Suspicious teeth are teeth that are discolored, stained, or have enamel defects. The tip of the handpiece is placed lightly on the biting surface and swept across the tooth. A tooth surface that produces a high reading indicates decay in the grooves. This is a useful tool because in some cases a low reading can be an early clue for patients to pay special attention to specific teeth.

    Now Offering Laser Dentistry
Safe & Efficient for Children and Adults
A laser is an instrument that produces a very narrow, intense beam of light energy that may or may not be visible to the human eye. When laser light comes in contact with tissue it causes a reaction. The beam of light produced by the laser has the ability to remove decay in a very precise manner, thereby allowing your dentist to save as much of the healthy tooth structure as possible. Lasers are used to remove the decayed portion of a tooth and conserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible, without the annoying vibration associated with a drill.
