What can I say? Dr. Chiu is AWESOME!!!! After considering liposuction for about two months, I finally got the courage to have a consultation. He was referred to me through my coworker who spoke very highly of him. Everyone always says to do your research and have several consultations; however, Dr. Chiu was the first and ONLY doctor I saw. He immediately made me feel comfortable and I had no doubt in my mind that this is what I wanted to do and this was the doctor that I would like to take care of me. I made my appointment for surgery the day of my consultation and I was so glad that I didn’t wait any longer. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Chiu’s wonderful staff, Suzy, Sophia, Connie and Chammy, whom were all so sweet, patient and sincere about my every need. The day of my surgery like any normal person, I was feeling nervous. When the time came to go under Dr. Chiu and his colleagues immediately made me feel comfortable, depleting all my nerves. In no time I was up and on my way home for recovery. My recovery was wonderful, especially with the care of Dr. Chiu and Chammy, whom made sure that they stayed in contact with me, answering all my questions and concerns. This kept a smile on my face and made the healing process much easier. Dr. Chiu and his staff are the best, they are sweethearts. Like most people, I didn't have a lot of experience with plastic surgeons before my surgery. I knew that I wanted to get my breasts enlarged but I didn't know where to start! From my very first meeting with Dr. Chiu and his staff, I knew he was the right fit.\r \r His office is gorgeous, clean and professional. His staff is welcoming, warm and extremely helpful, and his manager Chammy is amazing. Prior to surgery she was always available to answer all my emails, calls and texts... and she always helped me when I was nervous or overwhelmed. Hours after surgery she called to check on me, and now weeks after, she is still around if I need her at a seconds notice.\r \r When it comes to Dr. Chiu, all I can think of is ""amazing!"" He spent SO much time with me prior to surgery and was so patient with me and my indecisiveness! He went over all my options and allowed me to come in at least a half dozen times to try on different sizes and walk around and see what felt the most comfortable.\r \r On the day of the surgery he made me laugh and feel at ease and confident about my decision....and afterwards he has been extremely attentive and helpful when it comes to proper care of my new breasts. \r \r My results are beautiful, symmetrical, natural and exactly what I asked for. He listened to me 100% and truly understood my concerns about scarring, recovery time and final outcome. The last thing that really stands out to me about Dr. Chiu is his philosophy about detoxifying the body and preparing it for surgery. He does such a thorough job and recommends great products to help your body heal in a timely manner.\r \r I am still in awe about how fast and easy my recovery was. A day and a half after surgery I was off the pain medications and ready to get back to my normal life! I had been considering getting liposuction on my calves and ankles ever since I can remember. I finally got the courage to meet with a few top doctors in Beverly Hills. My first consult was with Dr. Chiu, even though he spent an hour educating me and I felt so comfortable with him, I forced myself to do my due diligence and meet with the other 2 doctors. The other 2 doctors seemed not as genuine and that they were in a hurry, and sleezy like a car salesmen. It was clear that they were not so open to answer my questions and couldn't be bothered. It felt like they would do me the favor by operating on me whereas with Dr. Chiu it felt like he was an equal helping me correct a problem I had with my body.\r It was very clear to me after I finished the consults that Dr. Chiu was the Doctor for me. He made me feel important and he wanted me to make the best decision for myself and didn't try to sell me on anything else, unlike the other doctors. I went ahead and booked my appt..it has only been 5 days post urgent and I couldn't be happier! Just like he said, I would notice a difference in my legs immediately after even with the swelling. \r He is truly an artist who cares about his patients and wants to help them get the best of themselves. He was also very honest in telling me what Was possible as far as results and what pain I would experience. He validated all of my concerns and was incredibly patient in answering my many questions. The other doctors didn't seem to care and focused on doing the least possible to get the deal. My husband texted him at 5am in the morning for a Muscule relaxer and he was on it immediately. He has given me my life back already I am shopping for short skirts and shorts, I feel so free and overjoyed that I actually did it!\r The patient coordinator Chammy was incredibly supportive as well. I told her my main consideration was pain and recovery. She let me contact 2 of his former patients that had the same procedure that I was looking to have done. It was so refreshing that they were so happy with their results and were wiling to share their experiences and their photos. I would highly recommend Dr. Chiu for any plastic surgery! His bedside manner is very warm and kind and he has proven his expertise and I have incredibly slim legs to prove it! A master at his craft!!! I could not have made a better choice as far as picking a plastic surgeon. Dr. Chiu, Chammy, Suzy and the entire office goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and secure. I had wanted breast augmentation for 15 years so the decision to finally commit was a well thought out and researched decision. During my consultation I instantly knew that Dr Chiu was the surgeon for me. I booked my surgery date right then and there and didn't have one hesitation. Chammy spent so much time with me and knowledgeably answered every single question and concern I had. I had come to Dr. Chiu from a friend's recommendation. The great thing about Dr. Chiu is that he is by your side throughout the entire journey. He spent over an hour with me at my initial consultation, spent time going over every detail at my pre-op and again at every follow up apt. The surgery was as nerve free and smooth as it could possibly be. My recovery time was just under a week and because Dr. Chiu is such a great surgeon, the recovery was much more minimal than I had expected. I barely had any bruising and was off of pain meds in only 4 days. Dr Chiu and his entire staff really went the extra effort. Both Dr. Chiu and Chammy called after my surgery to make sure I was comfortable and doing well. I am so so unbelievably thrilled with my results. Dr. Chiu, Chammy and the entire staff are just so wonderful. When first walking in to BHPS i didn't know what to expect. i was greeted by Suzie who was so friendly and beautiful beyond belief and welcomed me with a warm smile. When meeting Chammy the patient care manager i thought that all the questions i was going to be asked were going to only be about my breast augmentation and what to expect .But i was amazed about how much she wanted to know about me, my life,my goals and the reasons to why i wanted to get breast augmentation too of course.I right away felt comfortable with chammy and she gave me so much information and answered every question that i had for her. When meeting Dr. Chiu i right away fell in love! I explained to him what i wanted and he did an amazing job ! im in love with the results, i truly am. He listened to what i wanted and that was the most important thing. After the surgery i received a call from Chammy and Dr.Chiu to see how i was feeling and they told me that if i had any questions to give them a call at anytime. My recovery was great i had minimal bruising and the scar...What scar?!! my breast came out so beautiful! :D I'm so glad that i choose BHPS because my experience there was 100% ,everyone truly cares about their patients and it shows! I wanted to write a review about my recent plastic surgery experience with Dr. Chiu at BHPS inc. I have wanted to have rhinoplasty for about 17 years and put it off for one reason or another. It was scary for me because your nose is the middle of your face! There is no hiding that if it goes wrong! So, needless to say I did years of research to find the right surgeon for me. I live in Louisiana so I looked all over my state and Texas and having family in Los Angles I looked their as well. When I found Dr. Chiu's website I read everything and looked at all the pictures carefully and then did more online research at sites like this to read reviews and, unlike most of the other plastic surgeons I looked up, Dr. Chiu had only the best reviews! I still did more research, even looked at surgeons in the area that specialize in rhinoplasty and something kept telling me that I should call Dr. Chiu. So I did! He is the nicest person, he is really attentive and makes you feel comfortable. When I went for my consultation I was greeted by the lovely receptionist and barely had to wait to see Dr.Chiu! They are very good about not making you wait! Meeting Dr. Chiu was exciting but I was still nervous because surgery was becoming real now! I scheduled my surgery date and it was set! The day before surgery I was still a bit nervous because the friends and family I had told were not very supportive of me changing my nose! Chammy really helped me through that and I remembered that this was about me. I wanted this and waited for this for 17 years and now any nerves I had turned into excitement! ( thank you Chammy)! On the day of surgery every thing went perfect. My nose and face were swollen but it was not as bad as my husband and I had thought. After 2 days I started to feel much better and I could already tell, even through the cast, that I was going to love my nose! After a week it was time to take the cast off!! We were so excited! When I saw my new nose for the first time I burst into tears! Happy tears! It is 150% better than i could have hoped for! I LOVE it!!! I really want anyone that is thinking about any kind of plastic surgery to go see Dr. Chiu! He really is gifted at what he does! I still look like me, just better! I was afraid that my nose might be too small or look the same or who knows, but it came out perfect for me! It looks natural! I can't wait to see everyone at BHPS when I go back in Januaury! I have been going to BHPS for several months about once every month for a treatment. Sophia is the their skin expert. She is extremely sweet and professional. She has truly helped me improve my skin and introduced me to great products and services to help me. I recently had the SilkPeel treatment, it was amazing! My skin was glowing for several days after the treatment. I will be in again in the next month for another SilkPeel treatment, I highly recommend this treatment. I truly love this place, starting from the reception area, Suzy is sweet, friendly and wonderful. Dr. Chiu is an amazing plastic surgeon, attentive, down to earth and has a great bedside manners. I have done fillers with him and quite happy with his work and truly trust him. Let's not forget Chammy, she is also always helpful and very knowledgeable. Sophia is the esthetician, she is soft spoken, great with her hands and very attentive to your needs. This is my second time getting a facial at BHPS. I truly would like to recommend them. I have always been nervous at the thought of facials because my skin is so sensitive and prone to breaking out. I decided to finally go for it after becoming increasingly frustrated after a few recent breakouts. After doing my research, I decided to try the SPA at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery based on all the positive Yelp reviews. As expected, the SPA at BHPS was beautiful, comforting and clean. Sophia Phan, my esthetician, was warm and professional and made me feel at ease to discuss my skin's history. She led me into a posh treatment room that was equipped with a machine that unveils all the things you can't see in natural light. I was concerned about sunspots and this machine showed me that I have more on the side that the sun hits when I drive which makes sense since I drive frequently. It also showed dehydrated skin (especially under my eye area since this is a genetic problem), oil congestion, lingering blackheads, and fine wrinkles (nothing hard core but early signs of aging I would like to combat). She recommended a few treatment options and I decided I wanted to start with a microdermabrasion facial. Sensing I was slightly nervous, she put me at ease by explaining what she would be doing and what products she would be using as she did the treatment. Sophia gently but firmly removed the dead skin cells from my face with a state of the art microdermabrasion machine. She removed my blackheads without irritating my skin. I was fearful that the pressure would be too intense for my delicate skin and leave my face red and irritated for days following. This did not happen. Rather, after removing my dead skin cells, Sophia proceeded to hydrate my skin and treat my sunspots with an antioxidant mask that she had customized for my skin type. The treatment was soothing and the products smelled nice. When Sophia was done, she brought me a snack and a script that showed the products she used on my face. The products she recommended have kept my skin glowing! I write this review, one month after receiving my facial with Sophia, and my skin still looks better than it has looked in a long time. Hydrated, clean and healthy! I feel better about myself. I know it can be difficult finding someone to trust your face with.
