Dr. Funda Kahn, a hypnotist in Northbrook, IL, is a graduate of the Leidecker Institute of Hypnotherapy as a certified consulting hypnotist and instructor from NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists). Dr. Kahn is also certified by the Rev. Dr. Scot Giles for complimentary medical hypnotism and a graduate from the College of Dentistry, in Istanbul, specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Kahn assists her husband with his oral surgery practice, with a concentration in implantology. Dr. Kahn was drawn to hypnotherapy after seeing the need to help people deal with dental fears, anxieties, panic attacks, gag reflex, lip biting, teeth clenching and related problems.
Dr. Kahn has helped patients change their bad habits, overcome fears and achieve goals. Dr. Kahn also uses and teaches other modalities, such as inner child connection, emo-trance and the energy healing technique called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), which is a form of acupuncture without needles.
