Dr. Frank Roberts and Spruill

Besides the out dated office they are wonderful doctors and the staff is amazing! I've been seeing them for 10 years and they have delivered all 3 of my babies. Brenda and darline at the receptionist desk are my two favorite girls to see and chat with. Besides the doctors, they make you feel confrontable and are not afraid to joke around. Cathleen is one of the nurses that would see you I LOVE HER! I wouldn't see anyone else besides her if the doctors was not available to see me during my visit. The hospital they deliver at is beautiful and the staff is very professional and really does take there job seriously. They even took care of my husband when I was in the hospital for the two days. more

Dr spruill delivered my baby and if it wasn't for his quick thinking my son might not have made it. He was an excellent dr throughout my whole pregnancy and always made me feel comfortable. more

I knew of Dr Spruill through my job.Expecting mothers had nothing but good things to say about him.I was taking to the emergency room and transferred to another hospital.Where I say Dr Spruill I was in so much pain I could not pay attention to the procdure he was going to due.Needless to say he was so compassionate.A year later he suggested I do surgery for my problem explained at this time I could not have surgery.Dr Spruill literally held my hand he was passionate understanding he was very sympathic even whenm I was in his office crying due to my problem.You can't be the best if you don't have the best staff also.Dr Spruill is the best so for the person who had a bad experience.But that is not my experience.I still follow up with him and he is still very passionate and has a good sense of humor.Thank you Dr Spruill and staff for always being welcoming and understand peoples needs. more

Dr Spruill is not a personable person/doctor. He has a very nasty and temperamental attitude. As a gynecologist, he doesn't make you feel comfortable at all. I will never visit again. more

I have been going to Dr. Spruill since I was pregnant with my twins Jonathan and Justin who are now 24 and I am still a patient at his office. I got pregnant shortly after moving to Virginia Beach and after doing some quick research decided to give this practice a shot- I got sooo lucky!! I have seen both Dr.'s and they have the best attitude of ANY Dr I've ever seen.. I had some issues in my first trimester and even if it was something not severe they took every concern seriously, and would do whatever it took to put me at ease. The entire office staff is fantastic as well, down to the nurse who took my blood (the hospital took 4 times to draw from 2 different nurses she gets it right off the bat everytime!) I really cant say enough good things about them.. My only negative is the woman who did our gender ultrasound- Its kinda a big deal and she couldnt have been more crappy about it- but shes an outside tech (she uses a better ultrasound machine then they have in office) so I dont hold it against the practice (: more

Dr. Spruill delivered my oldest and Dr Roberts delivered my youngest and my granddaughter. I have seen just about everyone in that office for bloodwork, annuals, etc. And the receptionist, Ms Brenda is very polite and efficient. Dr Spruill did my tubal ligation 3 yrs ago. I was blessed to find Dr. Roberts last year after being admitted 2 hospital with what the ER "doctor" diagnosed as ovarian cancer. Dr.Roberts went right to work with no time to spare. I had no insurance but was treated like a million dollars! After performing several tests, cancer was ruled out and he wisked me away to surgery where he removed 2 large masses from my ovaries. He was intent and compassionate on my behalf the entire 6 days I was in the hospital. Quite literally saved my life. This man is truly a blessing and I thank God everyday 4 my life. His staff is absolutely wonderful as well. I enjoy every appt. These wemon are loving and supportive as well. Wouldn't dream of ever going anywhere else. U guys are awesome!!!!!!!!! more

Good: I have been going to Dr.Robers for over fourteen years now.He has delivered both of my boys one 14 and the other 7 I could not have asked for a better doctor than him.Both of my children where born when we had major hurricanes and he was their with out a doubt He comes from a wonderful family and a proud mother that I got the pleasure to meet.He has been a major part of our family delivering a total of eleven kids and counting.Thank you Dr.Roberts, for your dedication to our children and their wellbeing.. Bad: Nothing, I love everything about his office.He has alot of employees that have worked for him as long as I can remember.That says alot about the way he runs his practice.He cares for his staff like family.. Improvements: This practice needs no improvements whats soever their perfect!!!! I LOVE this practice! Not only are the Dr.s awesome but the staff members are wonderful! All have a sense of humor, comfort, and loving touch. If I was still living in VA I would still be with this practice! HHmmmmm I will return home to visit family....maybe I'll make an appt. lol Love this practice...an extension of our family. I have been going to this office for 14 years. I now have referred my 21 year old daughter to them to take care of her during her pregnancy. The whole staff is caring and compassionate. I live 25 miles away from their office and have chosen stay with them as opposed to obtaining a OB/GYN closer to my residence. more

I have been going to Dr. Roberts for the last 10 years. He has been my doctor through 2 babies. I can be sitting in a hair salon and listen to who delivered a ladies baby, and before long, Dr. Roberts is always brought up. He has had many deliveries. Now, his care is incredible. They will do ultrasounds, of course, and keep track of other things. But it isn't those standard things that makes him so great. He is compassionate enough to know when you need help, as I had terrible morning sickness and they took care of me. He kept a check on other issues I was having and they quickly took care of my labor when my water broke a month early. Roberts delivered my first son and Spruill delivered my second. And in both cases, I was more than happy with the care I received from this pair of great men. (Poor Spruill got the difficult of the two though!) more
