Dr. D. replaced my hip and I was back to 100% in 5 weeks! We still have a little work to do on my right knee which was self inflicted. I found out the hard way that you should wear knee pads after 60 when laying 1000 sq ft of tile flooring. As for the Dr himself, a youthful, intelligent breath of fresh air in a community of smug and old orthopedic surgeons, I would never let anyone my age operate on me. Excellent bedside and straight forward and very comfortable to talk to. His genuine compassion is only surpassed by his skill and knowledge of his craft. Pros: Down to earth Cons: none I have found more

Excellent 4/30/2006

I was just seen for a ""trigger finger"" consult, no surgery, but he took the time to explain EVERYTHING, what a refreshing experience!!! If I do in fact require surgery, I will go to Dr. Della Maggiore, witout a second thought! He was very polite, friendly, bright, not trying to rush me into anything, answered all of my questions. I really felt ""safe"" in his hands, so to speak. Pros: Many more
