Dr. Dimitry Goncharov

Hands down, the best OBGYN I have ever experienced in NYC. I am picky about doctors. I don't want my Doctor to be just nice, caring, and competent. I want to feel that I can TRUST my doctor - trust his opinion, experience, knowledge and expertise. Dr. Goncharov is all that and more. His credentials are top notch, he has breadth and depth of experience, he cares, he's thorough, and if there is a problem, he is very reassuring and supportive. He doesn't push for unnecessary tests, treatments, or surgeries. I went to see him after having a bad experience with my previous OBGYN. Dr. Dimitry Goncharov reassured me that I was fine (the other doctor wanted to do tests and even surgery). I felt so relieved. And, of course, Dr. Goncharov ended up being right. He is simply the best - very caring, present, never rushes, he has excellent nurses and staff, and he seems to truly enjoy his job. My pap results came back the next day when I received a personal call from Dr. Goncharov himself! 10 stars in my book! more

Definitely the best gynecologist in Brooklyn I've ever been too. Dr Dimitry Goncharov has everything you could want in a doctor. He's knowledgeable, kind, non -judgmental, flexible, has a caring attitude, and gets a thorough medical background instead of rushing through things like most doctors. He also has a great staff. I've never been so comfortable at a gynecological exam before. more
