David is a very pleasant, professional doctor who listens for your needs. I had a rhinoplasty procedure and while everything was very professional the results are unfortunately unsatisfactory. In fact, it's not just very far from the desired results, but in attempt to fix my problems it's also ruined many existing nice features as well making me feel really ugly and depressed. While I know there is an average 5-20% of people who aren't happy with the first results and might need a revision, I'm very disappointed it's happened with me and I might have to find a revision specialist somewhere else. Although Dr. Mabrie's CV looks up to par, some of their professional & ethical practices should be called into question. My first concern is that they do not seem to have standardized policies in place. They have ""policies"" but do not communicate them to their clients which in turn only work out to their benefit. I am currently struggling with a situation with this practice. To my dismay, I have revealed a team whose primary objective is making money. Without getting into the details, the patients? health is of secondary concern if even a concern at all. In my opinion, elective procedures are delicate, sensitive matters that require not only proper training of the physician but a compassionate, supportive team. Thus far, this office seems to be empathically deficient and completely lacking in professionalism. It's disappointing to have to write this but I would encourage anyone to think twice before scheduling a consultation here. I was very hesitant to get a mole on my face removed. I had gone to other doctors before but none said they were capable of doing it. I did some research and came upon Dr. Mabrie. I was extremely nervous at first but he was very kind and answered all my questions. Infact, I agreed to do the procedure and we did it that day. Results are still healing but they already look fantastic! I am very happy with his work. I will most likely go back to him the future for any further work I might want to get. I am not one to dish out compliments but Dr. Mabrie is truly great: he has a rare combination of professionalism, respectful and friendly personality, and most importantly -TALENT. I went to Dr Mabrie with depressed looking eyes due to deep tear troughs - friends had been telling me for years that I looked tired/and or sad. After 45 minutes with Dr. Mabrie and some Restylin and Radieuse injections, what seemed like years of wear and tear around the eyes was almost entirely erased, I can not overemphasize enough what a HUGE transformation this made pretty much instantly. I look so much better, and don't have that tired look all the time and an added bonus is that my face also does not look baggy anymore because there is now an overal balance and symetry- which has definately given me a huge confidence boost. In subsequent visits Dr. Mabrie has been consistently excellent. I went to see Dr. Mabrie for a rhinoplasty procedure. I had a huge bumo on my nose and wanted that fixed as well as my tip. I need that to be defined. I met with Dr. Mabrie and I love him and his staff. All were very nice and my appointment was very satisfying. Dr. Mabrie is professional and kind. He put my mind at ease. My surgery went off without a hitch and I love love love the results. There is no bump and my tip looks great too. Now I have the nose that I should have been born with! I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Mabrie and while he was very pleasant, my results weren't. I am unsatisfied with the surgery, there is a minimal difference at best. Also, my nose drips for no apparent reason several times throughout the day. When I inquired about a revision surgery, I was told I would have to pay for use of the surgical facility, which of course, is my fault since I should have asked about this beforehand. If you want the best lips in SF, book a time with Dr. Mabrie. I saw Dr. Mabrie recently for Restylane for a little lip plump and love the results. Dr. Mabrie was warm and friendly and didn't give me those over-inflated lips that make me cringe. My treatment was just enough to be perfect! His Union Square office is cool and Dr. Mabrie was on-time and I was in/out of there in about 45 minutes, which was great since I went there during lunch. I'm going back for additional treatments.
