I had a horrible experience at Vaughn Family Dentistry. I was misinformed by Dr Vaughn and had I known all my options before the start of my procedure, I would have taken a different course of action. However, because of this lack of communication, I was forced to make quick and difficult decisions that ended up costing me unnecessary charges in the thousands of dollars. more

I first went to Dr. Vaughn out of total necessity. I hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years, and I was scared to death. All my past experiences with dentists had been horrible. I was a basket case of nerves, crying, and fearful. Dr. Vaughn calmed me down completely. I never had any discomfort for any of the procedures I went through, and there were many. \r \r From the front desk to the dental assistants to the doctor, I received nothing but kindness and experienced care. My mouth is in the best shape it has ever been in, and I actually call and ask for appointments proactively now! It's wonderful, and it's the way it should be.\r \r I'm so grateful to Dr. Vaughn and his wonderful staff, and of course my whole family decided to go to Vaughn Family Dentistry. The rooms are state-of-the-art, clean, and welcoming. I went to see Dr Vaughn today after having a toothache for a couple of days.(my current DR is not open on Saturdays) When I called the girl who answered acknowledged I was in a lot of pain and she had me go straight to the office. When there they treated me like they knew me forever. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor was very kind and considerate of my pain issue. I had been very nervous but left the office with no worries of returning to see Dr Vaughn. It felt as if he took it very personally not to let me go the rest of the weekend with ANY pain. I hadn't been to a dentist in a few years when I went to see Dr. Vaughn, and I've always had bad teeth (which is why I dreaded going!). For my first appointment, Dr. Vaughn himself examined me and I had (you guessed it!) a bunch of cavities. I was actually crying in the office! Dr. Vaughn was so nice, he even called my house to make sure that I was OK. He prescribed a sedative so that I would be more relaxed for my first filling with him, and called me after I went home to check on me again. He and his staff and very caring, and I actually don't mind going to the dentist! If you're a nervous dental patient, try Dr. Vaughn! more
