“Excellent area to visit while at the Disney Resort”\r When Disney imagineers came up with a Downtown walking area between 2 theme parks it was probably the best thing they did in a long time. \r Plenty of nice shops to browse with things you won't find in the parks, and a lot of good restaurants, like Rainforest Cafe, ESPN Zone, House of Blues, and more...\r I always visit the downtown area when coming to the parks, and recommend you do too, you'll love it! \r \r more

They give you 2 hours free right off the bat for parking, and then you get 3 more if you get it validated at either a restaurant or the movie theater. So if you eat, make sure you get your ticket validated, and so you get 5hours free! more

I like coming to Downtown Disney for a nice walk and to enjoy some snacks or food...although it is quite a drive, I like going to the candy store, can't remember its name, but I load up on chocolate covered strawberries....walk into Sephora to check out the latest additions to the beauty scene and walk to Wetzel's Pretzels and buy me a slushie..they have many flavors to choose from...and buy the pizza pretzel...sooo good...its a great place to get away for awhile...the best thing is that parking is free! and its never so packed when i go... more

downtown disney 12/15/2002

a place to browse with an espn zone location. the only espn zone location in southern california. espn zone is the right place to visit for a sports fan. prices to buy things are expensive. within walking distance to disney's california adventure. it is quite a distance from los angeles and ventura county to orange county. it is a lot closer if coming from downtown la, cerritos, orange county. downtown disney has selected stores. you should check the shopping directory for stores you are interested in. amc theatres has a location here. Pros: tourist attraction, espn zone, amc theatre Cons: 45 min from la, expensive, limited free parking more

Love Downtown Disney! 11/12/2002

Downtown Disney is a great addition to Disneyland. The restaurants (House of Blues, Rainforest Cafe, ESPN Zone, Y Arriba Y Arriba and others) are great and it is nice that they are all in one place. Also, the shopping isn't bad!! I love how Sephora is there (Closest one to me!) and there are other stores that are unique to Downtown Disney that I have yet to find elsewhere. Also, the kids won't be bored with the LEGO store and Build-A-Bear <-- Cute!. Although sometimes crowded, parking isn't an issue here. Downtown Disney is a very Fun Place and I recommend it to all. Pros: Lots of Shops, Lots of Restaurants, Kid-Friendly Cons: Crowded more

FOOD, MOVIES, BAR, STORES... 9/10/2002

Downtown Disney is a place to be at! If you aren't in town often, you've got to at least go here once. I've been a few times, and haven't had the BEST of fun, but it's given me something to do. There are Disney stores here as well as other stores (shoes, candy, etc) so you could do some Disney shopping while you're at it. There is also a movie theatre, a few restaurants, ice cream stands afterwards, and even a bar. ESPN is here as well, so there are games upstairs of that to check out! This place has all you could do on a Friday or Saturday night. Great place to have a date as well. Kind of reminds me of 'Citywalk' more

The place to hang out!!! 6/27/2002

Disney did it again!!! I like going to downtown Disney with my friends!!! The best place to go to there is the ESPN Zone!!!! Sports every where. The food maybe a little pricey but it service is great and the waiters attened you right away. more

Stay all day...if you can afford it. 6/10/2002

This place has it allAtmosphere, restaurants, Sports Bar, Tons of shops and a Movie Theater. I could spend all day there...if I could afford it. True they don't charge to enter Downtown Disney, but the parking alone can make you go broke. True, the first three hours are free, and they validate 2 hours at the AMC, However, considering I have to wait for 50 min for a table, dinning can be about 2 ? hours. Anything more than dinner and a movie can be hazardous to your wallet. The parking is $6 and hour so shop quickly and eat fast. I had dinner, watched ? a game @ ESPN Zone and a movie, when it was time to get out I had to pay $18. Not a good way to end the day. My Tip: Go for no more than 3-4 hours. Pros: A Variety of Shops, Good Restaurants, Nice Movie Theater Cons: long Restaurant lines, EXPENSIVE Parking more

Disney does it again.. 5/19/2002

This is a great place to take the family to relax and enjoy some great shopping, food, and fun. However, know that it is DISNEY, and all they really want is your MONEY. So, don't expect to leave there without spending a few dollars. Everything there is a dollar or two more than it would be outside of Downtown Disney. But, if you are also going to Disneyland, its a great place to go before or after and has a monorail station to make it easy. more
