Best Vets in the Philly area. 8/8/2011

I have been bringing my pets (dogs & cats) to Downingtown Animal Hospital for over 11 years and they have always received superb care. I have tried other vets prior to that and received adequate care, but this group is exceptional. The physicians take the time to talk to you about your pets' conditions, treatment and any concerns you have. They go above and beyond in helping you care for your pets. As an example, one of the physicians called me after hours without prompting and spent over 15 minutes on the phone discussing care for my dog. They are extremely knowledgeable (one of the physicians trained at Univeristy of Pennsylvania) and all the staff are very kind and loving to the animals in their care. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 1/12/2011

GREAT VETS WHO REALLY CARE!!! I've been bringing my dogs to them for 8 years for general veterinary care. They respond quickly to emergency situations and have kept my dogs healthy and strong. They have referred me to other specialists when the dogs needs are beyond their scope. Prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful.\r I highly recommend them. more

great animal care 9/26/2005

I FOUND MYSELF IN NEED OF A VET IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION.I CALLEDF AND THEY GOT ME RIGHT IN.I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE COST,SINCE SOMETIMES ANIMAL CARE CAN BE EXSPENSIVE.THEY WERE GREAT AND THE COST WAS MINIMAL.THEY DIDNT WANT TO DO ALL THE STUFF THAT WASNT NEEDED FOR THE VISIT IN WHICH I WAS THERE FOR. more

Excellent vet 9/12/2005

We started bringing our dog and cat here after becoming dissatisfied with their previous vet. This facility definitely had the caring touch that we were looking for, and always treated our animals and us with respect. They have an excellent facility and pet owners are welcome to go into the back rooms when their pet gets a treatment or shots. I like to be present during these types of procedures, and I witness very caring professional treatment at these times. The vets and assistants are very gentle and approach the animals in a calming manner. They answer all of my questions and are very patient. The tables and floors are always very clean. The rates are on par with our old vets, and seem about average. more
