I came in here thinking 2-3 stars maximum and expecting it to be the same typical off Irish pub that I've grown to hate (and in a lot of ways it was). But it was Big Dan's birthday bash so l decided to come anyway. And in the end it made for a much better time than expected. Don't get this review wrong, on a normal night, who knows how it could have turned out. But maybe it was the Black & Blue's talking, or maybe it was the Snake Bites. Or maybe it was the parting shot of tequila, and the fact that Big Dan rolled in with a beautiful posse of karaoke singing ladies (actually that one is an incentive anywhere :D). Or maybe it was just the fact that the karaoke night was pretty freaking awesome, and that plenty of people in the crowd gave props for a job well sung. But whatever the reason Downey's delivered one abnormally fun occasion.
