A trip to Dover Lake Water Park always makes for a fun day. Rather than making the drive all the way to Sandusky from Akron, Northfield is closer and the traffic is better. Dover Lake offers waterslides ranging from the very tame to the downright scary. They also have a wave pool, plenty of picnic and parking space and batting cages. You can also purchase food there, but it is a little on the pricey side. more

Cool off and have fun Great fun..in the water and on land. For one reasonable price you can enjoy all of the attractions at this park. When you tire of the water fun ( Slow river ride is great), enjoy some fun on dry land. The younger ones will enjoy some time on the kiddie amusement rides like bumper boats, magic carpet slide, the kiddie coaster and a few others. The older kids will enjoy putt putt golf, batting cages, horse shoes, video games and volley ball. When you tire of that enjoy your picnic at picnic grove. more
