Where do I start? Maybe with the movie posters like "Lone Ranger" (the modern awful version) in the rooms where you pick out caskets and urns. Next let's mention the unreturned phone calls and the director who obviously inherited the place from his parents and hates his job. On our first trip in after my mother passed unexpectedly and the police recommended Douglas, the owner/Director barely offered condolences. He was downright awkward. Which you don't expect from someone taking care of such a delicate manner. Finally the fees for just cremating my mother and storage until cremation were RIDICULOUS. Over $4000 for a few urns, cremation and holding my mother until Mt Auburn could fit her in. That's outrageous and they should be ashamed for providing such unsympathetic services at really ostentatious fees. Shame on them. When you are dealing with death you don't need to feel taken advantage of.
