Dr. Hutcheson earned his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary. He received his medical education and completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Prior to joining Virginia Women’s Center’s Mechanicsville office in 1998, Dr. Hutcheson served as an assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Virginia. He was also the director of the abnormal Pap smear clinic at MCV. Dr. Hutcheson is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has also been named a fellow by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 2016, Dr. Hutcheson retired from obstetrics to dedicate his time to office gynecology.
