Doughboyz Pizzaworks & Pub

Last night my husband and I traveled to Doughboyz for dinner with our two sons. As we pulled up to park we noticed that there was a very large crowd inside & hesitated to leave. Our 10 year old really wanted pizza so, we went in. Our experiences was vastly different from the previous post. We were greated instantly and seated at a tall top table close to the door. Our drinks were to us within minutes and our food order was taken in a very fashionable manner. Within 20 minutes we had our pizza and our 4 year old had his spaghetti (which he loves!). Not once did I see a waitress not cleaning or assisting a guest. I felt that our needs had been meet and I know that we will frequent there again. This establishment has been a blessing to the area, not only for their great food but also their hospitality to the community. I know that they sponsor local sports teams, provide place for sports parties (soccer last night), and help sponsor the Arbor Creek Fun Run. Doughboyz has our business & congratulations to the indivdual owners and managers for making a success of this restaurant. more

We just had dinner at Doughboyz this evening for the last time. I apologize in advance for what I have to say may seem as if Im being a bit harsh but our experience was horrible. My wife and I each ordered a sandwich thinking it would be quickest and easiest to deliver. Little did we know this was not the case having waited nearly 25 minutes for our order to arrive. Our son had spaghetti that could have just as easily come from a can. I do not believe it is the owners intent to have staff stand around and socialize while on the clock. I suggest they could be doing a more thorough job in busing the tables having found sizable chunks of food on the floor beneath our table. I also doubt the owner would appreciate having profanity spew from the kitchen. Which was the case overheard by my wife while she was filling the 25 minute wait distracting our three year old son by browsing the video games near the entrance. All in all, as frequent restaurant goers, this was by far one of our worst experiences. It is also very unfortunate since this is the closest pizza restaurant to our house. Without new management, an overhaul of the kitchen processes, a serious staff and some effort it is unlikely this place will survive the competition. more
