Mediocre Service - Poor Appearance 11/18/2008

We checked in fairly late so I wasn't expecting to be wowed by the service behind the counter since most hotels don?t typically man down their counters at midnight with their best employees. Once everything got squared away at the front desk I went to my room, it smelled like they mopped the floors with dirty mop water, not to mention the bathroom fan ran all night. In the morning I was trying to check out and the staff behind the counter was more worried about an employee?s username and password not working. All I wanted to do was check out - log in as someone else! I would not recommend this location. more

Good hotel 6/7/2005

The Clarion is a nice hotel, the staff is really friendly and helpful, but they have been doing a lot of renovating so it can be somewhat of a mess. The rooms are clean, and the amenities are very nice, but I feel the prices can be a bit high. The housekeeping staff is EXCELLENT. The nice thing about this hotel is that they have a restaurant in the building, not just a continental breakfast, but a full service restaurant. That's probably the biggest plus about this place. PROS: Nice rooms and staff CONS: pricey and renovating more
