We contracted with Double Check to remodel our kitchen. We actually remodeled the majority of the first floor of the house. The guys were professional, and clean-up everyday! Matthew was our project manager and he was there every step of the way, answereing all our quesitons. My sister-in-law had them put a dormer on here home in Nesconset. \r I would reco you get an estimate from Matt. more

double check constructed a dormer on our house in March. everything was great! they clean-up everyday and the house looks amazing. Dave handled all the town inspections and legalization of the home. they have a great staff\r \r thanks! more

we hired double check to install new roofing and redo a bathroom in the fall. the work was good and the workers were polite. i am happy with the bathroom, especially the tile work. i would reco them more

We just had Double Check remodel our kitchen. It came out BEAUTIFUL! They installed maple cabinets with a granite countertop. All the electric was re-done and our plumbing re-configured. We selectied our tile backsplash from the samples; it come out very nice!\r If your in the market for a kichen - call Matt at Double Check - I couldnt have asked for a more professional experience.\r THANK YOU!! more

We hired Double Check to build a dormer on our home. The permitting process was quite complex, and they handled it every step of the way. We were hesitant to do the work becuase of horror stories we've heard, but we really lucky to work with Dave from Double Check. The project turned out amazing! The carpenters there are very hard working, and the project went smoothly. I would recommend them if you want to have work done because they are honest and do great work. more

My husband and I were skeptical about having a dormer put on our house in huntington. in fact, our friends had issues with thier builder. we hired joe at double check because he was so knowledgable about town permits and variances. double check built a beautiful dormer and the process was great. there were workers there everyday, and the project went so quick. my friend in commack is having an extension done by joe right now! if your looking for an honest contractor on LI- call joe at double check 585-4444 more

What a gift! 5/20/2010

My husband and I hired double check to fix or roof. We have had so many different contractors here to try to solve the problem with no luck. When they were here fixing the problem we didnt know if it would work, but we havnt had any water inside since they left. Finding the guys at double check was such a gift. We are now designing a new kitchen with them. more

I hired Double Check to build a small extension on my living room and finish my basement. I dealt with david walker. He was alwasy on the job and answered all my questions. The contract was concise and the job went very smoothly. I was worried about having an extension built originally, but Double Check took care of all the permitting and inspections. I love my new living room with the cathedral ceiling! We even installed an egress window in the basement for the town code requirements. \r Double Check did a great job and I would recomend them more

What a great Experience 4/12/2010

I hired double check to finish my basement. Dave was there every step of the way. He did everything he said he was going to and I felt like I had a friend doing the job. \r \r They took care of everything from the permits to the masonry, electric, plumbing for the bathroom, sheet rock and doors. about a year ago, I called Joe Walker at double check builders to give me a free estimate to build an apartment for my parents who were moving from florida. He helped me get all my information, permits, and even a variance from the town! he was on the job whenever work was being done, and always had time to explain the process to me. I was able to get a c/o for the work that was done and it looks great! my parents and I are extremely satisfied with his work. I would reco double check to anyone looking to have home improvement work done more
