Dos Pesos Mexican Restaurant

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time tonight. The food was great but the service was not good at all. The guy who delivered our chips and salsa didn't say a word to us; he just dumped the chips and walked away. It was pretty busy, but many of the waitstaff were leaning agaist the back counter - even when my drink was empty, no one come over to refill it. The bathroom was a DISASTER- one toilet clogged and toilet paper everywhere which made me wonder what their kitchen looks like. Also, it is almost February and they still had Christmas decoratioons up. The food was really good, and the prices weren't too bad, but overall I think this place needs to step up their game in the management department. I'll try it again once they clean the place & get the staff some customer service training. more

I am the grandaughter of the owners of this restuarant.. and I can tell you that this is the best mexican food there is... all the other mexican restuarants in southwest d are okay but DOS PESOS is truly authentic with many food options and is definetly WORTH IT the fried icecream is delicious so make sure you have room for it but the rice and beans are made always fresh... I know there is much work put into the food... compared with ways other restaurants would do.. but highly recommend this it's worth the drive!! :] more
