As we drove away from the restaurant my husband and I were laughing and saying the restaurant should be called ""Dos Punches"" because we felt like we had been punched in the gut. Yes, it was that bad. Mostly, it was the service. There were 3 waitresses and 4 occupied tables, but we just couldn't get anyone to take our order. I finally got someones attention and although she said she was not our waitress, she begrudgingly agreed to take our order. The food was not great. We ordered Carnitas and Enchiladas Poblana. If you know Carnitas, then you know it's juicy, slow cooked, shredded pork. What we got was oddly shaped chunks of dry, chewy pork and it was served with lettuce and cheddar cheese instead of the traditional cilantro and onions. My Enchiladas Poblano was not impressive. The mole sauce was bland and seemed almost watery. The chicken inside was good, but it just didn't make up for the sauce. We had heard that Dos Panchas had a great bean soup that is complimentary with your meal, but we never received a soup, so I finally asked for it. It was good, but they didn't seem too eager to serve it to us. Lastly I have to warn you that they do no offer free refills. We are more than familiar with restaurants that serve soda in cans and we know they charge for each can you get, but when it's a fountain drink you expect refills. We were just about to leave but my husband wanted a few more sips of DrPepper, so he asked the waitress for a little bit more. She brought a full glass and then told us she had to charge us for another drink. It was a waste of our money all the way around. OH! and I almost forgot... We printed out the coupon that Dos Panchas had on their website and took it with us. The ""hostess"" looked it over for about 5 minutes with a suspicious eye and then finally agreed to accept it. Now that's lousy service!!! It was their coupon, from their website!!! Save yourself the trouble and avoid this restaurant.
Pros: Good beans
Cons: Terrible service, no drink refills, tastless pork
