Best Mexican Food EVER! (at least in MT) more

My wife and I have been patrons of Dos Machos for 18 years.\r We've NEVER had a poor meal here. Dos Machos always makes you feel WELCOME! Entering the restaurant you feel\r like you are stepping back into Old Mexico except for the\r comfortable modern seating.\r \r Your meal will be beautifully prepared with fresh vegetables,\r sauces, meats, fruits, and dairy. Each table is given fresh warm\r nacho chips and salsa upon arrival. Your beverage glass is TALL even if its a PEPSI!\r \r The staff is attentive and courteous, and they make sure that\r your beverage glass is refilled. If there is something extra \r needed to complete your meal~ it is brought IMMEDIATELY!\r \r If you are in Billings, Montana~ try the Dos Machos restaurant!! You won't be disappointed, your tummy will be full, and your wallet will NOT be flattened!\r \r On weekend evenings have dinner and listen to the strolling\r and singing Mexican troubadors with their guitars as they serenade each table. Sit back, relax, and enjoy~~ it's all for \r you~!!!\r \r I am hard to please when it comes to restaurant food and\r ambiance, but I've NEVER been displeased at this location.\r In fact, we've taken people near and far to dinner at this location\r and EVERYBODY loves it!\r \r Enjoy!!! more

This was a nice restaurant with great food. I am from AZ and really missed mexican food on my trip through Mt and ND. This was really good and reminded me of home. more

We eat here frequently and everything I have tried on their menu is fantastic. They have a live mariachi band that my daughter loves to watch. Margaritas are pretty good too! more

This place just across from our fabulous hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Billings) was really nice. Cute inside with comfortable booths and delicious food which was very reasonable. Good service too. more

Back in the 90's, I used to eat there all the time. They've changed locations, but it's still got the same great environment, and world-class margaritas! I'm so glad this restaurant is still here. It always has, and always will be, one of my favorites in Billings. more

I can say nothing negative about this restaurant. The staff is so friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and so is the food. This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Billings more

I had dinner at Dos Machos on a Friday night. The food is fairly generic Tex-Mex, without any pretensions. I've always had great service here. The restaurant is conveniently located near a number of hotels, so it is a good place to stop for a quick, reasonable quality meal. I'm an enchilada person and particularly enjoy their ground beef enchiladas. more

Watered down Mexican food 4/24/2008

Not a bad restaurant by any means, but the food is distinctly mediocre. The good thing is that prices tend to be reasonable, with most entrees in the $10-$15 range. Noise level isn't too high, but it can get crowded. Service has been friendly and prompt both times I've eaten there. The menu itself is rather unadventurous, with a standard selection of burritos, fajitas, and tacos. Portions are large and are a fair value for the price. Still, those who want authentic Mexican food should look elsewhere. Pros: Quick service, large portions Cons: Mediocre food more
