I hired Jeffrey Dorsey to represent me in a misdemeanor family charge in Oct 2010. I was visit VA at the time of the charge. Dorsey promised I would not have to ruturn to the state, and that he would take care of the charge- no problem. After changing my court date without notifying me, causing me to loose thousands in wages, I ended up spending about $2,000 more to come back to VA. And now that the case is ""over"" (he entered no lo contendere"" plea, he has not answered or returned at least 50 phone calls I have made with questions about how the charge affects my professional license. Terrible lawyer, trust me, the extra $500 is worth all the trouble he will cause you- get a real lawyer!
