Jennifer, you may be absolutely correct. It must not have been Dr. Dorsett who was actually diagnosing patients. It was INDEED her assistant, or nurse or whatever she is. Dr. Dorsett would sign off on whatever she would put, which in my opinion, if MY name was on the line, I would make sure to at least VISIT with the patients I am signing off on their records OVER A MONTH LATER when I have never met the patient. I have never personally met Dr. Dorsett to be honest. Looking at my medical records that I obtained from her office proved my point to a T. I take it you must work for or with Dr. Dorsett, and if you are a patient, I HIGHLY suggest gathering your medical records. There are TONS of inconsistencies in the records, portions missing, things being diagnosed but not treated, the list could go on for hours. I specifically remember after getting my last HPV shot getting EXTREMELY sick. What do the medical records reflect? Patient was OK. No mention of the fact that I was nauseous, almost passed out, and the staff had to get me orange juice to keep me from passing out.\r \r Nice doctor Eh? \r \r The MISDIAGNOSES, which, in the medical records DO NOT ACTUALLY REFLECT anything but a doctor's note (OH MY GOSH, SHE MUST BE THE BEST DOCTOR EVER IF SHE CAN DIAGNOSE DISEASES WITHOUT EVEN WORKING IN A LAB OR PROVIDING THE LAB REPORTS!! SHES MAGIC I TELL YOU!) was IN FACT a MISDIAGNOSES since NO OTHER DOCTOR HAS FOUND ANYTHING CONSISTENT WITH WHAT SHE STATED. I don't know your definition of MISDIAGNOSE but that sounds like it is hitting the nail on the head pretty darn well. I think it's funny you MAY or MAY NOT have a patient in their office who has a history of cervical cancer and shows signs, yet you aren't even taking the proper steps. DANG, It's a wonder why Oprah herself isn't using this doctor. Do note the sarcasm. \r \r My Original Post from 2009:\r \r Every time i've gone to have a check up, the doctor's nurse always comes in. She misdiagnosed me with something very serious, and then lied about the bloodwork. all this of course after waiting to be seen for about 45 minutes because the receptionist messed up on the front desk paperwork. Been going to Dr. D a long time and those reviews I just read are way off base. She is an MD not DO. Get it right if your going to write a comment. Don't believe the Misdiagnosed line. Suppose she could be confused. Nurses don't diagnose people its what physicians are for. I have found the staff to be anything but ""Horriable"" as ariannanoel indicated. As for healthcritics review I totally disagree. I think her bedside manner is spot on. She is quick and thorough without appearing to rush. I have recommended her to friends and they have thanked me! This doctor should have a license removed. She is the most unprofessional and condensation doctor I have ever met. Pros: None! Cons: Everything! more

Been seeing Doctor D. for years. She delivered my daughter and I just love her! She has my little girls picture on her wall as well as many more that she delivered over the years. My daughter is a teen now and she see's her too! I give her 5 stars and recommend her. Pros: Makes me feel like she came to see me. Takes time to visit. more

This doctor based in round rock is offensive, yells at her staff, and smells like cigarette smoke and alcohol. I went to see her for my annual exam about two weeks ago and she reeked of alcohol. She was rude to the receptionist complaining about other staff conducting herself in a very unprofessional manner. I have been a patient of hers for years but won't return. She quizzed me about her office staff and then spent 1/2 of our visit complaining about them and her lack of money from insurance companies. more
