There is this place here in town that sells the best ice cream ever tasted. It's called Doozies. They have hard ice cream and soft serve ice cream.. They are open during the summer months and always with a line up of people. The only downfall of going to this place is that there is always a line up because the ice cream is sooo good. When ordering cones, they give you a nice size cone for your money's worth. They have a big selection of different items you can order and a huge selection of stuff you can add to your artic swirl. more

Ice Cream Time! 8/7/2006

Doozie's is a small ice cream stand set up the old fashioned way, where you go to the window and order the food. The lines are often long, so the wait is a bit of a pain on those hot days, but the treat is well worth it. The prices are great at Doozie's, with kids cones being only $.50 each- and they're much bigger than kiddie cones at McDonalds! They have an extensive menu of ice cream treats, and even offer low fat & diabetic options. Doozies is definitely a hot spot in the summer time! They usually close shortly after Labor Day for the winter, and open just before Memorial Day for the summer. more
