I have been going there for years ,even knew Don SR. ,JR. is doing a great job ,lots of boating stuff there and very knowledgeable people, fair prices, boats are expensive, some used parts are better than new china spin offs , I have got nothing but honest and fair solutions to just about out all my boating needs from Don'S Salvage and Marine . more

I am a co-owner of a boat repair business and have been doing business with this company for many yeas. Jr. is a fine young man and is quite knowledgeable in the industry. If he quotes you a price you can bet you're getting a good deal. On the rare chance that he may be wrong just show him proof of your claim and he will adjust his price accordingly. They do not want to loose customers.\r P.S. Jr. if you are reading this you owe me a beer more

Bought a pair of Taco outriggers. Good price and great service. I'll be doing more business with them. more

Overpriced ports/hatches - bring a grain of salt. 8/13/2011

Dug through the 95 degree warehouse for hours trying to find a few ports that would fit. Got everything to the counter and they wanted $100 each. These were not in great shape, noticeable cracking on plastic parts - old. 2 of the hatches sell new for $150. Was a real bummer to drive out there and rummage and then pay marina prices for inferior goods. It may be worthwhile for the rare part you can't find elsewhere but hatches/ports are overpriced. Don't expect a fair deal on these items. ""Jr."" was not friendly during the transaction after I was unhappy with the price. Did not think this very professional. more

NIM 4/16/2010

I have been in the shop twice in the last week I dont know alot about boats but a freind told me about you guys and i came in looking for a shifter for a johnson 120 i was sent to a trailer and when i got there i about fell out i had no idea what i was looking at or for. This nice guy NIM came to the rescue. I explained what i needed and he took me to a differnt place and hooked me up with the whole set, shifter red plug cable and throttle cables too, i didnt need them but i was glad everything was there i knew i could replace this now. the trim and tilt didnt work but he told me how to swap it with mine and it worked! I have not got my boat in the water yet but the shifter and trim and tilt all works. the price was right. a younger guy gave me one heck of a deal and i couldnt be happier I am sure alot of people know about don's but like me I didnt and am very glad to have found you guys anf NIM. I would have left and took my boat to someone and told them to fix it. But I didnt have to do that! THANKS NIM! for helping a rookie out! GOD BLESS! Pros: Everthing and then some you need for the boat more

mostly junk @ $$$ prices 3/31/2010

Working on a boat rehab... lets see. They wanted more money for used spreader that I had to root around their junk yard, than I could get custom fit and new from local rigging shop. Looked at 6'-12' HD home-made whisker pole, that worked poorly for $200. ""Junior"" would not even discuss another price. Told me it would sell for $700 brand new. You can buy brand new from Westmarine for $333 (or cheaper for $295 @ goodboatgear dot com), with all of the block and line. And guess what, the new one works. They wanted $8/foot for 1""x2"" rubber dock edge bumper. List goes on. Don't waste your time. Pros: counter looks like a boat Cons: mostly junk @ $$$ prices more
