I love it there, the service is great and the food is even better. My son talks about Tonelli's all the time...try the Red and White wonder pie!!! Honestly, the prices are great when you see the amount of their portions!!! more

I will not and can not deny the fact that their food is good (on most occasions) however, since moving to their new location on Easton Rd. (611) their prices have soared. It is dissapointing too, they have been a neigborhood favorite for so many for so long, but due to their outrageous prices they have literally bit their noses off to spite their face! more

Tonelli's is horrible! The service sucks, the food is cold and overpriced. The only person that writes positive reviews about the place is the owner that disguises himself as a customer. If you enjoy waiting an hour for your food, paying 50% more, and being rudely interrupted by the annoying drunken owner, then go there. If you want a good meal, go anywhere else! more

My boyfriend and I drive by Tonelli's constantly on 611. It looks really nice from the street, it has nice curb appeal. He told me months ago that he and his office ordered take out from there and that it was way overpriced and not that good, but I wanted to try it out for myself actually dining in. We arrived around 9:00pm on a Friday, the bar was almost full and the dining area had many openings, yet the hostess still had us wait about 5-10 minutes for a table? When we were seated, no waitress came over to us for about 8 minutes. A little after getting out drink orders, she places something on the table and walks away. My boyfriend and I looked at each other in shock! Did she just do that..... are those really paper plates and plastic silverware sitting there???? We honestly could not believe that a "nice" restaurant/pizza pub was using paper plates and plastic silverware! I mean, come on...... this is actually a nice pizza restaurant, and the presentation of their food is horrific! They bring their fries out in foil like you're at the amusement park and their sandwiches in baskets like you're at Friendly's. They definitely need to spend the extra few bucks and invest in real silverware and plates. So, that paying customers like us can actually have a nice meal, and be able to cut their stromboli without their plastic knife breaking and eating cardboard from the plate. I was so perplexed and annoyed by this, so I decided to ask our waitress nicely if there was actually some kind of theory behind the owners using paper and plastic. ?? She replied by saying, "We are just sooo busy that at times we have a 45 min. wait. We only have 2 dishwashers and it just makes more sense to throw the plates and silverware away." This was actually pathetic that that was the reasoning.... in other words they are too cheap and too lazy. Hmmm, that's weird though, because when we were there between 9-9:45 on a Friday night - they were not busy at all! Then how does every other sit-down restaurant do it with a lot longer waits than 45 minutes!! This was a ridiculous experience and we are actually insulted that we paid $30 for a stromboli, salad and a chicken sandwich and were given paper plates, plastic silverware and last but not least - they had NOTHING to pass the salad out with, didn't even give us salad tongs! Needless to say, we will never be wasting our money here again. Sometimes, I suppose you do have to listen to the old saying - looks are deceiving! more

We had never been to Tonelli's but had heard some positive feedback! Boy were we surprised! Everyone seemed pleasant as we settled into the bar and waited for a table. The bartender was friendly the drink was relatively inexpensive, then the race began! We were seated and ordered both a large "Famous Pizza" and a cheese steak. The Pizza came first 5-10 minutes and the cheese steak came around 15 minutes later. That wasn't the problem!! From the time the first bite of pizza was in my mouth the "Race began". No less than 3 -4 waitresses and even the owner were on our backs to "Chew and Go"!! We didn't even have our cheese steak and they wanted us out, out, out! Never enjoyed pizza less!! Don't plan on returning!!! Tonelli's - Maybe Drive-Thru!! more

Tonelli's Pizzeria has excellent cheese steaks, especially the cheese steak wraps. They are perfectly messy and delicious. Service is good, but slow. Good selection of take-out beverages. more

Tonelli's--Horsham Rd and Rt 611 phone 215 675 3220--voted best of philly--the finest pizzas,wings,cheesestaeaks and hogies in the universe. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. more

Tonelli's Pizzeria is an alright place to get a pizza if you must have pizza at that moment and are just craving it. Honestly, if there is somewhere else to go, I suggest that you do that. Often the pizza that they serve is either over cooked and burnt or undercooked and doughy. There are other items on the menu, but they are just as bad. It seems as though they may just use cheap products to make the dishes. It is a business, so maybe they want to save a buck. And the service... terrible. more
