Every experience at Don Pablo's, from the very first, has been exceptional. We love the people who work there! We've been to two Cinco de Mayo celebrations there, and more of our friends come back each time we've introduced them to our ""home."" Kudos to Jason Barrett fro having such a great crew!! A Better ""Windmill"" 8/20/2002

Lots of people I have spoken to really like this northeastern restaurant chain, and think their Mexican cuisine is wonderful. Most of what I have eaten here though is just sub-par. Their beans and mexican rice, two fundamentals of any Mexican restaurant, are not palatable at all and they have no sense of the enchilada. A positive is that their tortilla soup is VERY nice however... My theory is that Don Pablo's prospers in areas where there is a dearth of good Mexican cuisine because it stands out as a tolerable example in those areas. But if you want a better Mexican restaurant, my windmill for this area is Coyote Cafe in Hamburg. Pros: Tortilla soup Cons: pricey for Mexican, unyummy except soup more
