Don Freely Auto Clinic

We have had nothing but good experiences with these guys. They are nice people, they fix the cars right, and they do not gouge you with unneccessary charges. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. I won't take my car anywhere else! more

I cant give a no star rating, so I am left to give Freely a one star.I took my car in for inspection and although I think they made a right diagnoses, (except not noticing a missing cotter key in my front tie rod was missing, I did this on purpose to see how thorough they were) I was double and sometimes tripled on repair costs and labor. Estimates were vague, especially on the front end parts and labor, (that is putting it nicely) Personally, I would not take a bicycle to this repair shop to have a chain repaired.\r I would suggest to anyone reading this, watch the MSNBC special on a Saturday afternoon about "Highway Robbery" and how MSNBC setup automotive clinics.\r These guys are crooks. BEWARE. more

Without reservation I recommend Don Freely Auto Clinic to the owners of motor vehicles whose primary standards for evaluating motor vehicle repair and maintenance services are that a thorough diagnostic analysis is done to identify all the causes of a performance problem, the appropriate servicing is done correctly, services are completed in a timely manner, management inspects servicing before a vehicle is returned to a customer, techicians take the initiative to observe for parts that require replacement or repair and report such parts to customers, customers are informed about unexpected situations, and customers are treated with courtesy.\r \r For the past five years I have used only Don Freely Auto Clinic to provide maintenance and repair services for my 1977 Oldsmobile and 2001 Honda Civic. I have consistently been very satisfied with the services they provided. In 2009 and 2010, for example, they prepared the Civic for vacation trips. While driving over 7,000 miles through mountainous, wilderness areas of CO, MT, UT, and WY I did not worry about mechanical breakdowns because I was justifiably confident there wouldn't be any. When I leave Don Freely Auto Clinic I always have peace of mind because I know that their services were done correctly using quality parts.\r more

Dan and Mike are awesome. Always show you the parts they replace and why. Very knowledgeable. Smaller shop where the owners know your name. I have used this shop for all my vehicle needs for over 10 years. Would recommend them to anyone. Pros: Great Customer Service more

I am the buyer that asked Don Freely Auto Clinic to review the 300ZX below. They did what I asked of them and more. They saved my son $4k for purchase and addtl. future repair costs based on what they found. All of the things they brought to my attention was not shared to me by the seller, incl non-matching VIN's...\r \r Additionally, i have used them for all of my vehicle repairs over the years. Classic american cars to 20 yr old imports to Honda mini-vans to Nissan Titan and they have always over delivered with affordable prices and meeting a deadline they promised. \r \r Dan, Mike and the boys have a high quality shop that is genuine and honest! I have taken all my cars, including two Corvettes, to Freely's and I never had any unresolved issues. My rare all original 1982 Vette has had nothing but top notch service and care. Dan and Mike have always been responsive to my requests for appointments, service questions, pricing, and any other questions I have had. I highly recommend them. A one star rating only because I could not leave NO stars. I took my 300zx here for a pre-sale inspection that the buyer requested. First, I called many times to make an appointment and could not get anyone to answer the phones. Second, when they got done with the call, they did not even call me to let me know it was ready to go. Third, when I got the report they had many false problems with my car stated, including things I had previous records of things being replaced, fixed, and installed. Because of this it lost me a good 4 thousand dollar sale!! All because they did not know anything about my vehicle. I would no more recommend this place to anyone then I recommend eating dirt.
