i beg to disagree with jack t, though i am glad the move went well for them. . don farr moved our things - more than a few collectibles - and we also thought our possessions were in good hands until their arrival in our new residence (in another state). so much of our belongings were damaged, crushed, maimed - it was unbelievable! even the men who made the move were embarrassed when broken pieces of furniture were removed from the truck. to make a long story short, when the estimates for the repairs came in - the stonewalling, coldness and refusal to accept responsibility for the damage kicked in (though we had insurance). it took the BBB to get involved (thank goodness for the BBB) for them to reimburse us for the damage they caused to our belongings. it took over 8 months for the claim to be settled! So, my advice is to take lots of pictures!.i could never in good conscious recommend Don Farr to anyone for any move; and, if possible, move what you consider most precious yourself.
