Don Davis Autoworld

I took my Pontiac in to get serviced. I'd been quoted at three of those nationwide franchised auto repair shops like Monro/Mienekee over $300 for the repair I needed. I brought it to Don Davis wanting ANOTHER opinion, they not only confirmed my suspicion that the three places I took it to didn't know what they were doing, but fixed my car in under 1 hour for a mere 60 bucks. I was very pleased with the service. It made my day to learn my cars problem only need a little over a half hour of labor and no parts. I would highly recommend this dealership. Pros: Explained everything to me in detail, didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need or tell me stuff was broken that wasn't Cons: None, great experience. more

Never again. I almost got ripped off by buying a Pontiac here. I can't stand going to dealeships to buy a car,but Don Davis really tried to screw me over by saying I had to put over 2000 down w my trade in,which by the way was only 2.5 years old and had 13,000k,to have my payment where I wanted it. I walked and went somewhere else and when I did the saleman said he would match the other dealers price to get my business?! The dealership I did buy from required no down payment! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY WILL LIE TO YOU TO GET MONEY OUT OF YOUR POCKET!!! Took my car when maintenance required light came on, told me it would be about 2000$ worth of work. It took them a MONTH to do all the work! I finally got my car back and was driving home (I go to school in Buffalo) and the light came on again. Took the car to my mechanic back home, the sensor was broken... shouldn't have had to pay 2000$, the sensor only cost a couple bucks to replace. Took the car in once more for routine service (approx 90,000mi), they performed the service and when they contacted me to say that the car was done, the service advisor rattled off a list of things that were wrong that I should have taken care of, totaling about another 1500+ labor. I said no thanks, took the car to monro muffler on Main St, Buffalo to get a second opinion on one of the more serious things they told me was wrong, they said they had no idea what the guy was looking at, it was fine. Took the car home again this past weekend to my mechanic to have him look over everything Don Davis said was wrong. Everything but the 2 cheapest services were fine. Bottom line, I'm done with Don Davis, and I hope that anyone who reads this will not use their poor services. Cons: lie, take forever with the car, wrong diagnosis more

I was in for service the other day for an oil change, and I decided to check out the new accords because the waiting room was a little small. I have an 03 accord now, and i love it. Havent really seen the new style, so went to the showroom and saw Erik. He told me about the car, and sounded like he knew his stuff. We took it out for a ride, and I ended up buying an 08 V-6 Accord. He gave me a great deal with the trade and everything, I couldnt walk away. Overall, Im very happy with everything at Don Davis including Erik. Pros: fast, easy, lots of information, no BS, great trade # Cons: a little on the small side of a store but saved lots of $ more
