Disgusting Customer Service. I am not suprised about the previous review. I had a similar run in yesterday with the male manager at this same branch. I think because he is in a position of authority at this branch that he feels entitled to treat customers like dirt. His attitude is nasty and rude. I came in explaining the western union service needed (refund). Mind you I called Western Union's 1800 number prior to walking in the snow to collect. He and his caucasian representative refused to give me a refund. Not just refused but they both were really snide and nasty about it. Upon requesting the usual 1800 number most currency exhchanges have for submitting a complaint, I was told with a smile and laughter that any complaints would need to be communicated to either one of these associates. Eventually I resolved this by returnning home and communicating with western union directly. According to them, the branch should have honored my refund. Looks like Dolton Currency Exchange makes up their own rules and really lack adequate customer service. These two associates do not know the meaning of courtosy or respect. I hope more people take the time to document these situations so attention can be brought to the unproffesionalism these agents have the audacity to have. The nastiness is so unecessary. Something definitely need to be done about this. They are in a black community treating residents like crap when we are spending our hard uearned money there. I think it is disgusting and I will continue to complain. more

I am a Black Woman and TODAY I was in line at this Currency exchange at 14200 Chicago Rd Ste 109, Dolton, IL and there was a white male customer behind me. All open windows had black customers at them with black employees helping them, and then the WHITE male manager opens his window and waves the White customer behind me over. I then say to the manager, ""excuse me, I am next and have been waiting here in line, you just opened up to wait on him"" (refering to the customer behind me) he then says ""Yeah I did I'll be with you in a minute"". REALLY just like that. So you best believe I told him that was very ignorant and walked myself right out of there. I WILL NOT be returning and will TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO PATRON this busniess. RACISM STILL EXIST. A SAD TIME IN 2012. more
