Made a reservation for a car for 3 days while on short vacation. After discovering that the rental company would not take Visa Check card with thousands of dollars, upon my arrival at the airport after a long flight, the rental clerk agreed to take only a credit card and place a deposit on card and hold on funds for 1 day. Two days into my trip I get a call from a manger named Julie who calls me the afternoon before I am supposed to return the car and she tells me I need to return the car because my credit card is declining. I offer to give her another card and explain I will be returning the car in the morning as agreed. She then threatens that she may call the police because I am out of contract.
I offer to give her another credit card and she tells me she does not work for a credit card processing company and either I get the card working which is declining, return the car at once (I am on vacation not able to return until the following morning) or she may call the police.. NOT A GOOD WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER ON VACATION! I cant believe a company would hire a manger with such poor customer service skills. I will never rent from this company again. I am returning the car in the morning as I agreed and will never do business with this company again.
