Once again, Dollar General is living up to my expectations of them. Unfortunately, my expectations for Dollar General are very low. I had higher hopes for this store, since it is only a few months old. But, when I walked in, I quickly saw that it was just as messy, cluttered and dirty as every other Dollar General I have ever entered.
The aisles are cluttered, with boxes and merchandise. The shelves are disorganized and messy.
When I entered the store, there were no employees to be seen for several minutes. When I asked them for help though, they were friendly and able to help me.
Obviously, Dollar Generals do not put a lot of emphasis on cleanliness. i have been in Dollar Generals in other states and, it is the same at everyone. I am confident that one day I will find a Dollar General that will prove me wrong, but for now, my search continues.
