Dogs By The Sea

I have used Dogs By the Sea for over 5 years now. I just had them groom my 3 dogs and was extremely unhappy. First Dottie Naus (the owner) had me meet her at her new location on Whitehead St. Not only was she 30 minutes late, but it was a dump! Also there was a dog there that clearly was sick. i left and Dottie did reschedule with me. She said that that was her step daughter's location and she was taking my dogs to her new location on Big Pine. She did not show up on time and I had to call her. She did not cut them short enough and was supposed to call me and stop over to resolve this. She never called and just stopped. of course I wash't home. i have left 2 messages for her, it has been over a week and she still hasn't returned my call. She's definitely not responsible! more

Wow. and i mean Wow. I have been to many dog groomers throughout the keys and none of them top Alexis and Dotti. Seriously, they are courteous, generous,and not only groom your dogs but truly take care of them while in their hands. Patches stays with them even when i'm out of town. They have a great boarding unit. They properly feed my dog and show her love and respect. Without a doubt, these are the people you need to take your pets to. Pros: careful, courteous, well indowed, and very professional. Cons: sometimes very busy more

This place is great!! Amazing work and social surroundings. My dog Angel has never looked so spectacular as she did when Alexis groomed her. We will be going back every month. I highly recommend this facility. Pros: Everything Cons: Hard to get in the place. Alexis is not always avalible. more
