Great Chicago dogs, cool place! Pros: different toppings Cons: far from me

Worst

I love hot dogs. The dogs here were just o.k.. They have a good variety of toppings but they do not make up for the medeocre hot dogs. Pros: Clean, Good Variety, Hot Potato Ch...

For someone who does not like fast food, this is the place 1/29/2008

I'm not a fast food type person and nonetheless I loved the fries, the bbq chicken wraps, and the dogs are a surprise to anybody like me who does not like them - these ARE good!!!! more

Dogma is hands down the best hot dog place I have come across 1/28/2008

Being from Chicago, I have a true affinity and appreciation for hot dogs. A good friend recommended that I visit Dogma last week when I was in Miami. I can honestly say that Dogma is hands down the best hot dog joint I have ever visited. They have completely reinvented the hot dog experience -- both the food and the atmosphere are completely refreshing. It's menu is not only creative, but absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend everyone visit Dogma while in Miami. I hope their concept comes to Chicago. Pros: Cool Atomosphere, great food more

Fantastic, Fast Comfort Food with Pizzaz 1/28/2008

As an original New Yorker and Yankees fan, I've eaten a lot of dogs in ballparks and other venues all over the country. I happened upon this little gem of a restaurant about 2 years ago after hearing raves from all my buddies and they were on the on the money. Late night or lunchtime or anytime the place is open you can have one of the tastiest hot dogs in the country. The cool North Miami staff serves them up lickety-split and you can tell this place rocks because you got locals mixing with touristas. Awesome dogs, and a great outdoor atmosphere. I make it a point to eat at least one meal here every time I'm in Miami. In fact I'm craving their chili dog right now. 5+ stars. more

Do yourself a favor and go to Dogma! 11/1/2007

I have to say that Dogma is one of my favorite places for a quick meal. I have been to all 3 locations and the service and food is always consistent and delicious. I love gourmet comfort food and Dogma has it down....I love the Cali and the mint lemonade is out of this world! Pros: Great food, service, and decor, and very clean more

Hot Dogs 10/14/2007

OVERPRICED WARM HOT DOGS!!! Funny thing is they looked overcooked. And this staff is either lazy or they are rude.I dunno. I just came from a testing at another restaraunt on Collins and 65th Street called Muncheez... They had a funky hot dog they wanna put out.. It's deep fried with some crazy mustard relish.. I though it was gonna be gross but let me tell you. Don't let your eyes fool ya. This was the best tasting thing (it was crazy lookin) I ever had.. These guys are from somewhere up North of the states cause that menu they got was just to good to be true.. I can't wait till they open.Kiss the South Beach Diet goodbye! Pros: It was a nice looking stand alone hot dog stand. Cons: Unhappy looking people werkin there.Kinda too expensive.Poorly cooked dogs. more

Best place to Chill and Eat anyday 9/8/2007

I'm a regular customer here and I'm surprised at the ratings. I've always been satisfied with the fresh food and prompt service. If you're looking for a tasty dog i recommend the Cali. Dogma Grill is definitely one of the best places to grab a meal on biscayne and chill. I'd give it 10 stars if i could, and the customer service is always excellent. I tell many friends about Dogma and i've never heard any negative comments. The food is delicious and the music is nice. Pros: Great food, location and customer service Cons: cons..there are none more

Needs Improvement 7/24/2007

I love hot dogs. The dogs here were just o.k.. They have a good variety of toppings but they do not make up for the medeocre hot dogs. Pros: Clean, Good Variety, Hot Potato Chips Cons: Slow Service, So So Hot Dogs, A Little Overpriced more

Trendy but tasteless 3/9/2007

Great selection on the menu but this place is a better concept than reality. The service is terrible, the hot dogs tasteless, and the other day I got a pastrami burrito that featured cold chili... and paid for it all night on the toilet. This place should be avoided at all costs. Pros: Interesting concept Cons: Lousy execution, terrible neighborhood, terrible food, even worse service more

Terrible...stay away 2/6/2007

Blaaah. That is all I have to say about this place. We visited on a midwinter vacation. Miami was great, but this was the worst hot dog place I have ever been. The hot dogs were way over cooked and the employees were rude. I even talked to the manager who was equally rude. I love hot dogs and love going to local hot dog joints everywhere I go. This may be the worst one I've visited so far. Don't waste your time or money on this place. more

Best "Cold-not cooked" dogs and "Old" fires - Big Dissapointment.. 12/28/2006

I visted DogMa on Thursday Dec. 28, at 1400L..At first, the person behind the counter was off talking with other employees and not paying attention to the order window..And when She approached she did not have any greeting and gave the impression to me of what are you doing here..I ordered 2-Chicago Dogs and 1-order of fries..She did not even give me a reciept for my order..The place was busy, but not packed with customers..I had visited twice before with mixed results(Under cooked dogs and warm fries)..This time was the worse experience..My order took about 10-15 minutes..When I got it, the guy handing me my order did not say any type of thank you greeting at all..So I rate the Customer Service as Poor - Below Average.. more

Hot dogs and more on Biscayne. 9/11/2006

Dogma serves hotdogs and fixings of every kind. But they also serve sandwiches and wraps too which makes them popular among folks who work and live near or on Biscayne Boulevard. For me, my favorite menu item is the home-made potato chips served with your hot dog or wrap. They?re deliciously crispy and just lightly salted. Truly delectable. more

Dogma is Amazing! 9/8/2005

This place is incredible - a 10+++!! There is a reason they have been coined as the CPK of hot dogs - unique, creative and delicious toppings, a wonderful name and theme, friendly staff and amazing garlic fries...the mint lemonade is also a must have. If you're in the mood for a delicious and inexpensive meal, this is your place. The new location on Washington is fantastic too, indoor seating, great music and a fun vibe. Pros: delicious, great value, fun & easy Cons: NONE! more

Dogma is awesome! 6/19/2005

My friends and I are absolutely devoted to dogma...we love the variety, from a hot dog burrito to a veggie corn dog...the cheese fries are delish too! The staff is also really, really nice, and they just opened a new location on the beach (washington & 15th). WE LOVE DOGMA! Pros: Awesome food, Great variety, Nice staff Cons: Rain (it's outdoors) more

Wow, this was truly disappointing 2/9/2005

After eating here, you'll look think those 10 day old, shrivelled hot dogs at the gas station are a delicacy. I coulnd't finish mine and asked the clueless staff for a refund (they were very rude by the way). Save your money and go to 7 Eleven for a real gourmet hot dog compared to this place. Yuucckkka! Cons: Bad, just very bad more
