I have been taking our ""wonder dog"" to Susan for a couple years. I found Susan after a former groomer in Covington kept my dog in an extremely small kennel for 8 hours, saying ""You didn't specify a time to pick him up""...Susan has NEVER had him longer than 2 hours...and she is EXTREMELY good at working us in...As a matter of fact, I JUST picked up our wonder dog after calling yesterday in a panic hoping to get him in--On top of everything, we are extremely happy with the cut, wash, and attention that is given. Thank you Susan and all the staff for everything...and more importantly Cooper the Wonder Dog thanks you too! more

I Won't Take My Dog Anywhere Else! 11/3/2011

I've taken Lola Belle to Biscuits, PetSmart, and Petco. They did an okay job, but Lola Belle is a mixed breed and they all charged me according to the poodle price for a groom. Way too expensive for my pocketbook! I saw Susan's ad in our local paper, The Mirror, and decided to try her grooming services. I'm so glad I did. Not only was she done in 1 1/2 hours (usually 3-4 at other salons, which means she's sitting in a cage), all the extras like nail trim, ear cleaning, and face trim are part of her bath and brush price! And she always gets an adorable rhinestone and feather in her cap to boot! Lola Belle and I feel so blessed to have found Dog Spaw in Auburn! more

Overpriced and horrible job 4/9/2010

My experience has been horrible. For my last visit I was charged $64.00 for a standard cut. On top of the astronomical price for a standard haircut, my dog was bleeding in the process. My dog currently has a large wound on his stomach from the groomer cutting him with sheers. I would never, take my dog here again. If you care about your animal you won't either. Top Groomer in South King County 4/8/2009

tried Petsmart and Petco - pretty expensive and it seems like it's a bunch of kids just making a buck much different feeling at Dog S'Paw - I think it's because you are working directly with the owner Pros: they care and prices are fantastic more
