Best Kennel around. 5 stars! The run down: -very professional and personal with the animals -very clean. check it out for yourself. -service (calling in etc) was above excellent! -other reviews I feel are False based on my experience -Not ran by kids! (i once was young and I wouldn't had trusted myself with the life of someone dog so why should I trust a random kid with my dog?) Will be my #1 for now. I spent a good amount of time looking for a kennel for my puppy and I am glad I did. Kurt, the owner, was very nice and professional about everything. I had taken a tour prior to making my final choice based on concerns stated in previous reviews. I can say I didn't see of the so called problems others have stated. I concluded these claims were made in anger and have no weight to them. My dog stated with Dog Gone Acres for 4 days (5 if you count the day I picked her up) this april 4/2014. At drop off everything went smooth. Kurt just asked me some questions and got to know my dog before I left. He asked me to make sure I called in to check up on her while I was on my trip which I was happy to do. Checked in on her daily without an issue. At pick up she didn't even want to leave! She smelt fine and was as clean as when I left her. I could tell she had made a friend in Kurt. Thanks! *Dog is a Siberian Husky 11 months old I have had her since she was 3 month. I try my best to take her to public areas that accept pets so she isn't scared in times like this. *for those we complain about cages: Look into kennel training. You will see its not cruel or unusual, but a safe place. more

Great Kennel! 1/18/2008

My somewhat shy/reserved dog LOVES this kennel. The owners are very attentive and treat the dogs as their own. It isn't a ""spa"" or a ""plush"" place. It is a KENNEL. Not very pretty , but the care they get far exceeds any need for extra pampering. I never worry when my dog is in Kurt's care. The price is awesome too. Pros: Great Prices, excellent care, clean, sanitary, wonderful owner/operators! Cons: None..unless you're looking for a fru-fru dog palace. more
