Stay far away from Doctor's Medical Center. Dr. Laurusonis is out to scam every patient, every visit. He does not care about repeat business or his reputation in the Duluth community. He refuses to write a prescription because he dispenses his own medications. The medications you buy from this doctor will not be reimbursed by your health insurance company. THe medication he sells you for $42.00 he probably bought from Canada for $2.00. Also, the doctor is ugly acting and ugly looking. more

The doctor here misdiagnosed a yeast infection for an STD. So, after paying $600.00 in medical bills (up front), two weeks of antibiotics and almost the end of my marriage, it was fair to say I was Po'd to find out my negative test results. After a month of phone calls I still wasn?t able to get a prescription for the actual infection that I had.\r \r I had to go to another doctor; of course they had to re-test just so they could confirm what I already suspected (Doctors Medical Center messed up). I was finally treated, and a $25.00 dollar problem cost me more than a $1000.00 in medical bills and tests. This office is only looking to charge you; they are not interested in treating people, and have no medical or business ethic. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this facility. more

I was very sick and this was the first clinic that I could find. I called the clinic to ensure that they took my insurance. They said that they do, but they are a pre-pay clinic, and I will get reimbursed by my insurance company. They fill prescriptions there, but I signed a form which stated that they would write me one. After my horrible experience with the doctor, I went to the counter, and they had filled my prescriptions for me. When I said I wanted to go to my pharmacy, I was told that the doctor had left due to an emergency, and they couldn't get a prescription. In pain, I purchased the medication, gave them my insurance to submit for reimbursement, and paid $200. A few months later, I received a letter from my insurance company saying that they would not reimburse me, the doctor wasn't preferred. more
